Those are both good points. Though I think it would really depend on his priorities. For the Gidgeon thing, I was suggesting that Bolas could have tried the same ultimatum on Gideon from the start, it would be a harder sell, but more painful if it worked.
Hello, I just had my own thought on the end of Amonkhet. Mostly, I think it was pretty cool, but that a few things should have been slightly different. Gidgeon should maybe have been the first target, not because he was the greatest threat but because it would be the cruelest to leave him unaware of the others fates. Secondly, really Lilliana should have been the last, just good sense to save the recruitment/intimidation to the end when nobody is around to know of the betrayal, especially if for a moment she is consumed by anger and despair, and he breaks that. The idea of Nicol Bolas partially fixing Jace's memories to reveal only the death of his master would have been cool.
Also, for a return to Amonkhet what would be cool is if the plot in addition to the ruined plane feel that it would also be a quest to discover a way to revitalize the plane, possibly by reigniting the Luxa. It would make some sense to draw further from aspects of Exodus (the bible Exodus), but that could be awkward.
I kind of wish that Hazoret's active ability was targeted and could hit creatures or players. Or maybe even only creatures, just so she did something more interesting than just straight damage.
I saw a theory somewhere that Emrakul doesn't go right into Innistrad but passes over it. So maybe the ifght becomes convincing them to go snack on something else while they find a way to defeat it.
I thought the Returned of Theros lost their memories but some aspects of their personality remained. Like the story in which a smith still seemed kindly, I think or I might have misread that.
Also I could see a Black Red heroic character. Primarily self motivated and ambitious but is in the role of the little guy. Standing up to a White organization trying to control him, holding onto his goals and ambition to the point of death before compromising to another.
Interesting. Definitely much more variety than I would have assumed with my basic knowledge of Legacy. Some of those decks are somewhat similar but the similarity is based on certain decks using somewhat similar lines of play. But still a lot of decks are very different from everything else. I count at least 26 of the 40 decks are fairly dissimilar from all the others.
I like it quie a bit. It probably isn't the best thing for a White Weenie build but it could go into an Eidolon of Blossoms deck. It seems like it would work there because then you could run a decent number of Utiliy Creature Enchantments that aren't that aggressive by themselves but with support of the Dictate or the new Ajani they would be able to put on pressure. If White get a good Constellation card at 2 or 3 mana I will be so happy.
Probably you would have to look at what each guild is at their best and at their worst. Selesnya covers a pretty wide range and at their best are definitely LG and probably most members have Good alignments. The reason they can be argued as Evil is because at their worst they come off as tree hugging Borg.
I love the art. It fits somewhat in the colors. First, he seems to be a retired warrior. His belts host dozens of man sized weapons, yet he is not a warrior today. He seems to have withdrawn from society, seeking enlightenment. Red doesn't fit, for now he lacks passion. Green, maybe, but I still like Black. A third color draws away from his blue aspects, focusing on the nature of the contemplation rather than the act of contemplation itself.
Hi. I'm thinking of putting this together after I get a Red Deck Wins together. I decided to go heavy on disruptive cards. The Celestial Flare seems like it would be nice in the side board to bring in against Selesnya Aggro/Midrange. Thought about going Renounce the Guilds instead but then I saw the flare.

Edit: And Llorwyn Elves have hooves.

And the Life vs Death would be Hydras vs Gorgons. Serpents fighting to the death I guess.
