I like Memory Lapse in my tempo and combo decks to buy time. Although I generally like Remand more, it's much harder to re-cast the same spell on the same turn with Memory Lapse. Both Remand / Lapse are brutal against things with additional / alternative casting costs like Toxic Deluge / Fireblast and Suspend spells in general.

My long-term memory is very good. I've had a lot of situations where I talk to somebody about a conversation / experience we had years back and they're always like "wow, you remember that?"

Shor-term memory is a different story... Don't trust me to remember what your exact Chipotle order if I didn't write it down, haha. Something like that isn't worth remembering in the long run.

Young Pyromancer and Monastery Mentor are two cards that never work out for me. I know they're good and I see other people succeed with them, but for some reason I either A.) never draw mine or B.) I draw mine but it dies right away.

Like blink, I found that spells matter works better as a sub-theme than a dedicated archetype. The strong cards (Mentor / Pyromancer / Snapcaster / Jace, VP) are all good on their own and would rather have stronger spells than more spells matters dudes.

    I like Precinct Captain more.

Woodfall Primus is definitely a candidate to be the posterboy of big dumb creatures. Very abusable in Show and Tell / Sneak Attack / Reanimator / Natural Order / Oath of Druids strategies not to mention just ramping into it since he's green. Being able to destroy non-creature permanents is huge for green, and Woodfall Primus is very likely to be bigger than whatever creature it's not able to nuke.

My current green super fattie lineup is Woodfall Primus / Hornet Queen / Terastodon. I'm definitely in the market for one more mono-green super fattie. Pelakka Wurm / Avenger of Zendikar / Craterhoof Behemoth are all good but they each have their own shortcomings that I'm not a fan of.

Rishkar has more value in the fact that it doesn't have GG in its casting cost, and can be abused with blink / recursion shenanigans along with Reveilark / Alesha / Recruiters synergy.

    I'd keep Hydra and Rishkar.

Current AER cards under $2 that are pretty solid

    - Kari Zev, Skyship Raider
    - Glint-Sleeve Siphoner
    - Release the Gremlins
    - Baral's Expertise
    - Aether Chaser
    - Skyship Plunderer

Smuggler's Copter seems to have stabilized above $4, probably because of Frontier demand.....

Walking Ballista is currently above $10, I did not see that coming. Hangarback Walker 2.0? I'm speccing on every XX creature from now on.

but maybe a cube needs an additional defensive 5 drops
my cube people my group is asking for. some more thumpers and grindy cards

It may not be a 5-drop or a Golgari card, but I would add Obstinate Baloth way before I would add Ishkana (assuming you're not running it already).

Cryptic Command is still a beating, UUU isn't so bad since you don't necessarily need to curve into it. It's definitely one of the few spells worth the color intensity.

Now that I think about it, the least common card type present in cubes by far is Tribal. Bitterblossom is awfully lonely in the Tribal Club.

Thundermaw Hellkite is the bomb. 5/5 haste / flying / nuke birds / spirit tokens and tapping everything else that can block it when it comes out is just too good. If I were a sales manager, I'd want Hellkite on my team because that guy can close.

I played some D&D back in the day (mainly AD&D 2.0). I enjoy D&D a lot, but it's too much production for my tastes.

Discard / mill outlets aren't the issue, IMO, it's gettingn 4 card types into the graveyard. We need more dual-type cards like enchantment creatures / artifact enchantments. More Delirium payoff would be nice too.

Where my enchantment dual / enchantment fetchlands at.

Edit: sorry, strong reaction. I just tried to post in a way to avoid the comments like: "what would you even cut for it in the Golgari section?" And "this card has issues having Delirium by the time you cast it."

I mean, those are real concerns. You don't have time in cube to wait for delirium to turn on, and my golgari section is full of absolute staples if not cards that are as close as possible.

Not everybody would slot this card in the Golgari section though.

But yeah, Delirium is not worth pushing in a traditional cube since there's only about 2 cards worth playing (Ishkana / Grim Flayer). I can definitely see it work in an Innistrad themed cube though.

An old (non-cube) favorite of mine. +3/+0 lifelink / trample is no joke, and Loxodon Warhammer was the equipment analogue of Armadillo Cloak when equipment made its debut. For those of you who don't know, Armadillo Cloak was probably the 2nd best aura (which wasn't even a keyword yet) right behind Rancor.

Loxodon Warhammer faces immense competition from the Swords. Even for cubes that don't use the swords, 3 mana to equip is pretty hefty. I'd imagine this thing is quite the house in peasant cubes and slower traditional cubes, but 3 seems to be the unlucky number for equipment / vehicles.

Last time I used a hammer was to dismantle a cheap / old IKEA-esque desk last fall. I mainly used the hammer to pry the nails, but I do recall smashing some things.
