Holy ahit lol. You are singing to my soul as I LOVE LOVE LOVE alternate wincons. I played a [[Door to Nothingness]] deck with two side wincons of Mill and [[Azor's Elocutora]]. Loved that deck. Was one of my fave decks.
I wi drink your salty crocodile tears, you sad sap.
I played a Grimgrin, Corpse-Born Zombie tribal deck. I had Rooftop Storm and Gravecrawler out, and was taking players down one at a time. My friend ended up playing a Grave Betrayal to stop my combo. I then proceed to draw a Phage the Untouchable, play it for free off of the Rooftop Storm, sacrifice it to Grimgrin, and end up killing him with Phage's ETB effect.
Needless to say, we then determined that Grave Betrayal was not worth it lol
I used to pull apart and reassemble decks all the time (I was not financially smart). Finally, I've gotten to the point where I can keep EDH decks safe and sound. I have two kids, 13 and 12, which love playing commander. Eventually I want to teach them about the limited format, and I think a Commander Cube is a fantastic idea. One of my frienda had one and it was a blast to draft. This very well may be an excellent way to teach them about card synergy and mixing colors.
I would want to make a 4-Pod Cube but with a lot of variation within the cards.

And then I'm going to start on my 5 Color FunCons Karona deck.
