My reads are pretty much the same. Archae is probstown though. He had a bit of a slow start but he reads town, besides that I give extra weight to the curious guys meta read.
I've seen a scum double voter that didn't keep it in lylo before. Rodemy's paranoia over the issue reads intensely town and is something I can relate to.
Still have karn as my strongest scum read and cythares posts are getting somewhat better but I still lean scum there. I did appreciate her making me laugh by asking why rr was fence sitting now that he's confirmed town. As if that suddenly makes someone more confident in their reads.
Holding off on giving a read on Kank until I get through the game.

Anyway, still think rode my is town. Leaning town on swishh, but I really want the experience level question answered as I hope that will help me with that read though the defense of rr looks pretty town on its own. Not sure why my predecessor suspected rr based on the policy lynch thing as I thought that made him look more townish.
Still not liking a lot of cythares posts. I think one of the few things that I agreed with her on was that the strong town tell my predecessor applied to archae isn't as strong as he thought it was. I would have liked it better if archae had mentioned something about it first. I think he has a point, but its not a slam dunk tell. But she's pointing out weird things for being scummy. Like its not scummy in the least to ask for other people's thoughts. It's not automatically seeking approval. Also being paranoid of someone who seems competent isn't weird in the slightest. What bugs me the most though is at page 20, I've seen her point out scummy behavior but I don't know what her reads are. I think she'll be giving her reads soon, so.
But I think I want to lynch sir karn right now. He just feels off. And rodemy has a point about the thinking along the same lines and he's town. What struck me as off is the addition of "I'm town." And this is coming from a person who calls herself town all the time when town, so it's not the weird town don't call themselves town theory. It was just unnecessary. I get why duplicity thought this was a town tell as someone giving my same thoughts before I do is a huge town tell, but scum can easily make that statement, I'm pretty sure I have as scum. So we'll see if he gets better, but right now he's my strongest scum read.

Hey y'all. Duplicity messaged me this morning and asked if I could replace into his slot. I play at a couple other sites, but this is my first time here, so if I ask stupid questions about trying to get around the forum, don't mind me.
Anyway, I'll try to have the game read this weekend. I'm pretty busy right now so it might be a little past the weekend that I get it done. But i get my best reads from interacting with people, so I'm going to shoot for getting it done.
I skimmed through this page when looking for the deadline, so a couple first impressions.
Rodemy is probably town for post 841. That kind of self-deprecation thing tends to come from town more than scum. Scum can do it, but I'm getting a newbish vibe from the post, and I'd be surprised if he pulled that out as newbscum. It just reads honest.
Have a slight scum read on Cythera for 842. She responds to a question from Archae about Duplicity in which she answers it by going on about mafia theory. And I'm sorry to inform you but no. Townhunting is not, never will be "scummy." Sure scum know who town are, but finding town is equally as important as finding scum as town have their best chances of winning when they are able to find each other and work together.
This post is scummy for two reasons. First it completely oversimplifies duplicity's play. I'm really familiar with his playstyle and I'll be super shocked when I read through the game if I find that he's only townhunted. In fact his last post on this page shows that he's not only townhunting. So, she's reduced his play to one thing and discounted everything else.
Second - it doesn't actually engage with duplicity's content, but just espouses mafia theory. Now I know that in part this was answering a question, but notice that archae actually asks for how duplicity's actions are not in the best interest of the town. She doesn't answer this question at all. In fact, she says she can't explain his actions outside of the incorrect theory of townhunting being scummy, and to top it off actually asks if archae wants the question she asked answered. Oh and the greatest gem is her saying that she won't dig into his play to answer already asked question if she doesn't want it answered.
Now, I'm gathering from that post that duplicity is a scum read of hers. So, why does she need prompting to dig through duplicity's posts to prove he's scum? It's more likely that she's fabricating a read and doesn't want to actually do the work because she knows once she attempts to navigate through his posts, she's not going to find anything damning.
I'm also bothered that archae posted after that post but didn't address that. She addressed Kank's post after Cythera's post, so presumably she read it, but didn't bother answering whether or not she wanted Cythera to look through duplicity's posts and elaborate.
I'm willing to bet that at least one scum is in duplicity's scum pool in that last post and he seems really sure on Kank, so I'll make sure to read through him carefully.
