The more I play my deck, the more I end up bringing it closer to yours. People always say that aggro isn't good in EDH, and im seeing it first hand. It's too hard and too mana intensive to plow through with dragon hordes, especially against all the Dueling Grounds and silent arbiters in my group. Hopefully Fate Reforged and Dragons of Tarkir give us some nice toys.
How has the crucible of fire cut been for you? Ive been kind of on the fence with it, but when you recur Utvara Hellkite with Crucible + pandemonium, that extra +3 on every dragon adds up.
I added the pandemonium effects to my deck, and I'm very happy with the change. I'm testing feldon of the third path, how did he perform for you before you took him out of the deck? I haven't played a game with him yet. Also how is Ghoulcaller Gisa? +1 for Talisman of Indulgence. Exhume has been great for me, especially if I get it in my opening hand. Millikin looks interesting to me as well.
Im thinking of also cutting hellkite charger. Im hesitant because he has relevant stats with haste, but I never activate his ability. Maybe i'd keep him if his art was cooler, but overall it's a boring card to me. Still looking to trim the fat from my deck. Maybe consider Urza's Incubator in place of dragonspeaker shaman. Same cmc, same effect
have you tried out Cauldron Dance? Seems like a card you would like. puts 2 creatures onto the battlefield for Warstorm damage, haste for combat damage, and puts them back into your hand and graveyard for more casting.
Thanks for the tips. I haven't gotten to play the deck that much so my experience playing it is solitaire style. Also, feel free to use the sig if you want, I was inspired after reading the thread.
What's your opinion of Tyrant's Familiar? If you cast it with bladewing, the lieutenant bonus is assured
Do you ever have trouble finding a dragon when you need one? I run about 24 dragons in my deck and I am thinking of cutting some of that fat for more utility. You make a good point about magmaquake and such cards, I might take those out as well. I like the idea of the warstorm effects, I only have 1 of them in my deck
Im really wanting this to happen, but I dont think there is enough support for skeletons so far. skeletons top off at about 4/4, most of them being 1/1. Individual regeneration for each skeleton in play eats too much mana to be efficient. There are very few lords, and almost 0 support cards. Does anyone here have advice for making under-supported tribal decks?
Commander: Wrexial, the Risen Deep
Main Theme: Forced discard, plundering graveyards, unblockable Wrexial with boosts, casting without paying mana
Main Wincons: Quickly becoming my favorite deck. Wrexial is the main wincon of the deck. Attack opponent's hands to stock graveyards and help survive early. Make Wrexial unblockable with cards like Tainted Well, Spreading Seas, Stormtide Leviathan, etc... Boost Wrexial with some equipment like Fireshrieker and Trepanation Blade. Cast their stuff for free. lots of Clones and plundering. Back ups include Exsanguinate, Guiltfeeder, Suffer the Past. Budget build based on the $30 wrexial challenge.
Commander: Sigarda, Host of Herons. Girlfriend's main deck
Main Theme: Enchantress Voltron
Main Wincons: Sigarda kills you. She plays enchantments, draws cards, becomes unkillable, then splatters your body into a fine paste. Im not bitter, who said I was? Alt. win cons are Kor Spiritdancer, and Sigil of the Empty Throne. Any body in her deck can be a win con with the enchantments. Ancestral Mask.
how has Flayer of the hatebound worked for you? I put him in my deck and he seemed pretty sweet in theory, but I feel like he might be too cute to warrant a spot.
The strongest deck I ever made was Krenko, Mob Boss. Even my non-combo low power-level themed version could 40-0 a player on turn 6. Its cheap to build, and there are great primers/discussions relating to it. My version of the deck was so strong that I was forced to retire it, even though it was super budget and not optimized at all. I dont know if Krenko is the end all, be all destroyer of worlds, but it is effective.
It might not be the angle your looking for, but I dont usually build crazy decks so this one was the most powerful for me. Goodluck!
Edit: Savra, Queen of the Golgari is a great way to keep your opponents creature less. Maybe Shattergang Brothers for even more board control? Nekusaur with Infect and Wheels can kill a table in 1 turn.
Ooh! Prossh, Skyraider of Kher is Riddick-strong. Like, Oh I cast Prossh on turn 6 and win the game! gg! Also, Sigarda, Host of Herons Enchantress wins pretty much every game I play against it, from 1v1 to 6 player game. Shes Resilant as all hell, and only really cares about enchantment wipes, not board wipes. Theres a great primer on this site for her.
sneak attack is definitly on the list of cards to get, but damn. that price tag. Skullclamp is almost always a great card, but im worried that unless i'm in a sneak attack/dawn of the dead loop it would be a dead draw. But then again, maybe i'm just used to running it with tokens. Does skullclamp pull it's weight when not bouncing around between 1/1's?
I had a conjurer's closet in the original build, I forget what I took out for it. I think I might find a place for it again because of the synergy of Bladewing and other dragons with ETB abilities. Erratic portal is a good suggestion. Protection from removal, and a psuedo sac outlet for cards like Dawn of the Dead and Corpse Dance
Good suggestions, ones I will definitely consider.

Gruul or jund Wurm/Burn Tribal, with lots of flings
gloating aside, this deck is incredible and I thank you for your continued support and testing of it.

This is my deck that im working on:
http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/bladewing-the-risen-dragon-reanimator/
Here is a decklist i'm trying to work out:
http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/champion-of-stray-souls-skeleton-tribal-edh/
Main Theme: Power 5 matters, beasts, contested cliffs.
Main Wincons: Pretty much all the creatures in the deck must be answered and can close out a game if not removed. Protect Mayael and cheat out dudes with various spells and abilities. Tooth and Nail for Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Archetype of Endurance if I need to win ASAP. Mayael's Aria and Hellkite Tyrant are 2 alt. wincons
Commander: Sekki, Seasons' Guide
Main Theme: Spirits, Tokens, making unkillable spirits, big mana
Main Wincons: This deck doesn't perform as well as I would have hoped. The idea is to give small anthem boots like Gaea's Anthem and Leyline of Vitality to make creatures like Sekki, Phantom Centaur, and Phantom Wurm unkillable. Force people to fight and block Sekki to make lots of tokens Pariah's Shield, Lure, Grappling Hook, etc...which leads into a Craterhoof Behemoth, Triumph of the Hordes, Beastmaster Ascension, Alpha Status. Generates butts of mana using Vernal Bloom, Heartbeat of Spring. Boundless Realms leads into Howl of the Night Pack or Garruk, Primal Hunter ult. The best interaction is enchanting Sekki with Pattern of Rebirth. When he dies and leaves 8 or more tokens, in comes Craterhoof Behemoth. Needs a bit more work.
Commander: Kiku, Night's Flower, Girlfriend's second deck
Main Theme: Mono-Black Control, Mass and targeted discard, big mana, stealing and reanimating creatures, boardwipes, forced sacrifice
Main Wincons: This deck has a lot of ways to win. We generate a lot of swamps and extra mana for cards like Corrupt and Exsanguinate using Cabal Coffers, Crypt Ghast, and Nirkana Revenant. Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond is the only infinite combo I run in any deck, that I am aware of. Kill everything using board wipes like Killing Wave, Mutilate, Black Sun's Zenith, Toxic Deluge, Life's Finale, etc...Then reanimate everything with Grave Betrayal, Chainer, Dementia Master, Liliana Vess, Sheoldred, Whispering One, Rise of the Dark Realms, etc... Targeted murder including Kiku's ability, Thornbite Staff, Avatar of Woe, and other spells. More life drain with Kokusho, the Evening Star, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Army of the Damned and Pack Rat generate board presence and tokens. And a pet card of mine, Descent into Madness (doesnt win the game, but it's fun).
Commander: Bladewing the Risen. My current project deck.
Main Theme: Dragon tribal beats, reanimator, extra combat steps
Main Wincons: This deck can have very fast wins if I have some early reanimation spells in hand, but it's usually a late game deal. Survive early game. Burn the ground with Earthquake style cards. Make Dragons cheaper to cast using Heartless Summoning and Dragonspeaker Shaman. Warstorm Surge when they ETB, Flayer of the Hatebound when they get reanimated. Cards like Savage Beating give combat steps. Mass reanimation with Twilight's Call, Living Death, and Patriarch's Bidding. Boosting abilities from Crucible of Fire, Moonveil Dragon, and Bladewing's ability.Sarkhan the Mad destroys an opponent with a few dragons out. Alt. Wincon with Hellkite Tyrant. I like this deck a lot so far.
It might not be the angle your looking for, but I dont usually build crazy decks so this one was the most powerful for me. Goodluck!
