Cut an Inquisition for a fourth Lili is my initial quick impression.

I've been running this build and I have a few complaints regarding some stuff.

First and foremost, I wanna go ahead and say my Scooze does not pull his weight at all. T2-4 my priorities are building board position with DRS, Goyf, Bob, and Lili and Scooze is at the bottom of what I want. T5-6 I'm keeping my board as stable as possible with Thoughtseizes/Bolts/etc., and hoping for Huntmaster, Chandra, or Olivia. T7+ Scooze barely matters, as I've hopefully already won or am on the verge, or I've DRS their guys for a more profitable lifegain, or I end up casting Grizzly Bears lategame. I dunno, it could be that it's because I'm running him as a one-of, but I'm not impressed.

Second, I thought that maybe running 4x Ravines might be a good idea to keep a stable manabase, but I'm starting to think of doing a 2/2 split with Treetop Village because Goyf and Bob are having a party at the bottom of my deck and getting in there for 3 or so on T3 is a bigger strength than swatting for 4 on T5, and I think my manabase is fine enough to warrant losing RR.

Keep in mind that the only matchup I've played so far is my friend's RG Tron so it could just be that Scooze is bad against him, but I'm really starting to doubt his usefulness.

No doubt the goyf version is better but I was addressing a previous post about budget options. Still learning how to quote posts properly.
Personally I'm only missing Liliana from the core. I havent found any Chandras locally so I cant argue either way. Is pure jund with Chandra the way to go or are Ajani lists still okay?

IMO Jund is the way to go. Sure, Ajundi has Ajani Vengeant (obviously), Lingering Souls, and the like, but then you're stretching your manabase so far that it seems easy to get color-screwed since you're running 4 colors. Is Ajani Vengeant worth that? Perhaps. But I feel safer running BRG and not having to worry about needing W.

Is SOLAS really really needed in the SB?

I use it for Pro-WB...I replaced batterskull with it simply becauseit's faster and generally more useful IMO. As for cards needed in SB...it depends on your meta. You obviously won't need Sowing Salts/Fulminator Mages if no one in your meta plays Tron.

    Creatures:
4 Abyssal Persecutor - This is my goyf replace, this is just awesome, the only cards can destroy it is path, pulse and terminate, and that cards normally is underused, he dont stop to lingering tokens and chump blocks. I just need 1 on board to win and this is easy to removal im my deck.

    Spells:
1 Garruk Relentless - I think what is better, this or Thundermaw Hellkite
3 Maelstrom Pulse,2 Path to Exile - Can removal big things and my Persy(and Liliana too), and Pulse+Decay can removal my Dark Tutelage.
4 Dark Tutelage - This is my Bob Replace, this make what i really need, a consistent CA, and thanks to Persy i can kill the Opp before that kill me.

    Sideboard:
4 Smallpox - Against GW Auras/Low lands Aggros/Zoo this is just awesome.

I play on Budget, but the unique cards i cannot buy is Goyf and Bob, any other advice is gracefull.

And sorry for my really really bad english

I personally don't like Garruk...he just seems too easy to misfire for the effect he provides. Tutelage is a meh-ish replacement for Bob, who really shouldn't really be replaced to begin with, nor should Goyf...better replacements would be something like Blood Scrivener if you're constantly hitting Hellbent early on.

    Your English is decipherable. :3

*wishes I bought Thundermaw Hellkite last week when he was still $20...*

That being said, my Jund deck (average build) ended up being a little under $1700...those fetches, Bobs, Goyfs and Lili's really make the difference in price.

I still think it's a negligible point...if you're boarding in Anger against Pod (which I think would be the general case), I personally wouldn't expect my Oozes to get really fat, or my Shamans to be gaining me buttloads of life. But that's my opinion and you are entitled to your own. ^^

On a different topic, holy balls my Jund deck ended up being expensive...around $1700. Not sure how that stacks up to the average Jund build, but still...wish I bought Stormbreath earlier when he was $25. :p

    Quote from Tom
So I managed to pick up 2 Anger, and my list has been adjusted (-1 Misty, +1 Blood Crypt) (SB: -1 Ancient Grudge, -1 Fulmage, -2 Pyro, +1 Shatstorm, +1 Thoughtseize, +2 Anger).

I'm thinking about the pros and cons of Anger over Pyro.

    Pros:
    - Hurts persist creatures and stuff like Vine, Ghast, Crawler
    - Hits 3 toughness, mostly relevant against Zoo

    Cons:
    - Comes a turn later against stuff like Affinity
    - 2 red in the cost
    - Anti-synergistic with DRS and Ooze

Anything I'm missing? I'll be trying out Anger but based on the above it seems pretty close, you are sacrificing something that is easier to cast and you are able to cast sooner for something that has an edge on basically just pod and zoo. And then there is slight anti-synergy that could totally matter in the aggro MUs.

If you're worried about the negative synergy Anger has with Ooze and DRS, may I point out that Goyf is in a deck with both Ooze and DRS to begin with?

Are you talking about the spell Rebound targeting a spell with Suspend, or about giving the ability rebound to a spell with suspend with Cast Through Time, or about giving the ability suspend to a spell with rebound with Jhoira of the Ghitu?

    Cast through Time.
    Quote from Dilithium
There is no interaction between rebound and suspend. Rebound only applies to spells cast from your hand, while a suspended card is cast from exile.

    This was my understanding.

How does Rebound interact with Suspend, if at all?

I'm fairly certain now that it does not, but I just wanted to make sure in case it does do something wonky...like create a Suspended copy of the spell as it Suspends, or create a Suspended copy as the original comes out of Suspension.

    Quote from Sasky
Blightning is bad if you are going for a large tournament, where obstinate baloths and loxodon smiters are running rampant. I'd play any other removal or planeswalker over blightning. Anger of the Gods is much better than pyroclasm as it deals with not only persist creatures but also all those 3-toughness critters that gruul likes to play.

    Quote from HomelandZecurity
Slagstorm and Firespout aren't exactly frequently played cards right now, so I'd hardly worry about Anger of the Gods. Pyroclasm is still the go-to cheap sweeper, and Firespout/Slagstorm have more flexibility than Anger of the Gods (dome the opponent, kill only grounders or flyers..). A PChapin Grixis special would probably run Anger, but that's like 1 card out of 1 fringe deck.

    I told you guys. :p

    [two cents]

*suddenly copypaste decklist/sideboards from the Duke.*

I mean, yeah, he's great, #2 GP, and that's great and all, but come on guys...

Personally I don't think SoLaS is all that great, nor is Lavamancer...sure, Batterskull costs a bunch, but I prefer him for Lifelink, and he can be bounced back to hand if Shatterstorm or something happens. Of course, SoLaS's pro-WB...Lavamancer is a bad choice IMO, as the 'yard is already getting eaten by Scavenging Ooze and Deathrite Shaman...I honestly don't think R, a tapped guy, and two cards from my 'yard is worth a Shock.

    [/two cents]

To each his own though, of course.

    Either that or I'm dumb and can't find it. ^^;

My problem with that then is that flipping a Huntmaster or Chandra off of Bob slaps me for 4, for a total of 5 four drops...I know Jund is supposed to be suicidal to a point but I think a 1/12 chance of getting blasted for four is too high for my standards...

Stormbreath and Tundermaw each fill their separate niches...I think Stormy will fit me a little better, personally.

New tweaked deck to include singleton Chandra and Pyromaster, traded in a Thundermaw for Stormbreath. Thoughts?

Also...I'm terrible at SB building. Help on that would be appreciated.

My original plan was to have Thundermaw Maindeck and Stormy in SB to swap them out depending on what I'm playing against, but not enough noom... :<
