And how do you plan the prizes? Same as now, so 3-0 and 2-1s get prizes? The difference is that teammates don't fight with each other? I say if we ever do this, let's make it exciting. Only one team gets any prize, the winner of course. I would agree with each member getting the same amount, but each member of the winning team should win something. In this formula everyone would play 3 rounds.

I think the easiest would be to decide if we play any team game structure just before the event. That way we can just play regular if there are odd number of players.

Probably a famous Youtuber's video about MTGO PRE's would just fix things. Sometimes when they make deck techs about not so popular decks and I say 'hey, this looks cool, I go check how much these cards cost and then maybe build it too' I just find that the cards' prices just got spiked somewhat since the video's release day. If only 1% of the viewers try a PRE, that's still a couple hundred people. The problem with this I think is that if they don't do PRE's already, why would they advise it? And how? If they just tried it once or twice they wouldnt really be competent. So I'm just sorry none of them is really into PRE's.

I could think of one special format that is not too stupid or weird. Other than heirloom, maybe silverblack (only commons and uncommons)? It sounds fun for me. Different enough from regular, but still mainstream. Building decks look easier as well than in heirloom for example, or maybe even the current vintage. Would red decks be too good though in silverblack?

I vote for banning all of the above (strip mine and wasteland too), and unbanning the commons.

As for the number of rounds... Ehh.. No idea. There are pros and cons, I'm fine with either. Until we play 4 rounds with 7 people and realize how bad that is.

If we are voting on the timer too, I vote for keeping the 25 min timer. I'm a fast player and play fast decks, so even with 25 min timer, there are sometimes cases when I finish a match in 10 min (or less, if opponent play eg reanimator and drops Iona on turn 2) and have to wait 30-40 mins. Yes, it is one end of the extremes, but it does happen sometimes. Making the games last potentially 30 mins longer? No thanks. I'd rather lose to timer sometimes than wait for my next match when I should have been gone sleeping long ago anyway.

I vote for banning everything you come up with. I can't think of any card that you would ban, but I don't want. Some cards just shouldn't exist, and it was a mistake that wizards printed them. They would never get printed today. Good examples are strip mine, wasteland, mana drain, and I could list a lot more, some of which you wouldn't agree with me. I find no fun in playing or playing against those degenerate cards. This also includes coercive portal that I'm playing as an auto include in every possible deck. Most of the problematic cards are from older sets, so if you ask me, I want modern 100c singleton format.

About the tournament structure. Since the removal of the 100c singleton format in the client, people no longer play it in just for fun room, so the only place to play it is in this tournament. And I dont want single elimination and play one round (that I also lost which sucks!) in a week. Double elimintation is better in that aspect, but I find it too complicated to track who is still playing, how many rounds there will be, and we also have to manually drop when we lost 2 rounds, that we don't have to do anywhere else, so personally I just forget it. I'm up for anything else.
