I'm looking forward to seeing the Gatewatch vs. obstructive bureaucracy and a threat that they can't just burn to death. It would be hilarious if Chandra is suddenly the law-savvy one, because she has some, if not a very good, knowledge of the workings of Kaladesh.
Of course, chances of Wizards doing story with that kind of depth are pretty low. I understand all the hate for the Gatewatch, but I've enjoyed all the story with them. I honestly think the concept is pretty cool, and has potential in spite of what the haters say. It's just the execution that's lacking.
It does hit fast and hard so I guess it could theoretically be playable in some kind of Rattlechains (I love this card name lol) spirit aggro but the support for the tribe overall isn't even close to existing as the only other playable spirit creature is Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit.
Don't forget Topplegeist. Topplegeist plus Rattlechains has a lot of potential, what with instant speed tapping. Honestly, Topplegeist and Rattlechains are, I think, what Spirit Tribal needed to have Modern potential. In Standard, they only need two, maybe three more decent spirits to be crazy.
(Sorry, my earlier post was supposed to quote this one. I don't know what happened.)
Is it weird to anyone else that there isn't any more hype for Daring Sleuth? I feel like it's an on-curve beater in a W/U Aggro that transforms on an easy trigger into a monster. It's kind of the essence of investigate in that way--a cheap investment that can return tenfold later. Just look at Thraben Inspector, Bygone Bishop, and Thalia's Lieutenant. With any more support, I think it could be a house.

Honestly, the comparison between Fleecemane Lion and the other three is hardly fair, considering the difference in mana cost. If you're not running BTE, though, Fleecemane Lion is a good choice for a two drop.
Regarding the hate creatures, it all depends on your play style. Mindsparker is no fun for U/W control, Witchstalker is a big dumb beater that's hard to kill, and Fiendslayer gets fantastic when you make it bigger. In a Naya deck, though, the best 3-drops are typically Reckoner, Smiter, and Domri Rade.
I honestly think legendary dual manlands are simultaneously a realistic and very exciting concept. With the legendary-ness, it makes it more difficult to abuse them, and as such they can be more powerful than other manlands.
Examples:
Amazon Palace
Legendary Land
Amazon Palace enters the battlefield tapped
T: add R or W to your mana pool
RW: Amazon Palace becomes a 3/1 Red and White Human Warrior creature
with First Strike and Vigilance until end of turn.
Or:
River of Despair
Legendary Land
River of Despair enters the battlefield tapped
T: add W or B to your mana pool
2WB: River of Despair becomes a 2/2 White and Black Zombie creature
with "When this creature deals combat damage to a player, that player
reveals their hand. You choose a nonland card from it and remove it
from the game until River of Despair leaves the battlefield." until
end of Turn.
Or maybe:
Forge of Titans
Legendary Land
Forge of Titans enters the battlefield tapped
T: add U or R to your mana pool
3UR: Forge of Titans becomes a 6/4 Red and Blue Cyclops creature with
Protection from Red and "R: Forge of Titans gets +1/+0 until end of
turn" and "U: Draw a Card"
Until end of turn.
These are just rough concepts, but I'd love to see something akin to these in Theros.
