so this website: http://www.magicspoiler.com/theros-spoiler/ says quote, "...this large expansion (249 all-new cards!)..." and that is first where i got the notion that there would be no reprints in this set..

they said theros will have all new cards, no reprints. so therefore you will not be seeing sun titan.

so im looking forward to post rotation, and gw seems pretty strong between the RTR and m14 cards already out there. I would like to have mostly cards that wont be rotating! ideas for what i already have would be nice.

the idea would be to try and ramp into either an angel or hydra. havent worked up a side board yet, so ideas for that would be nice as well.

i agree with xanth, ooze must be a 4 of. he is too good to not be, as he wrecks any snap or unburial right deck right now. also, I really like fiendslayer paladin, with the lifelink to hit the archangel, along with the bonus that he cant be burned or killed with the red or black spells. Me personally would run him over the witchstalkers. also, voices are too good not to run, as he is probs one of the best two drops out there. Lastly, I find trostani to be too good not to run in this deck, as the life gain will help with archangel as well as a 5 toughness makes her a respectable wall to a majority of the creatures out there right now. one last thing that i personally like is blind obedience, for two reasons. it destroys any aggro deck you will face, and second the extort will make archangel go off. Many of these cards would make the archangel better, so in this case, you may want to make her a 3 or 4 off as well in this deck.

hope this helped you out some

if you are willing to drop alittle bit of money, the shocks would be a good manafix, also mutavaults are rediculous with slivers, as they become all creature types when you make them a creature. Also, cavern of souls will help with any control deck as well as mana fix, although it does rotate come september. just some thoughts.

That's burn with the Grim Lavamancers replaced with Deathrites. I'd post your list on the burn thread instead of here cause they'd be able to give you much more constructive advice.

At first glance you may want to replace Wasteland with mountains and consider adding sulfuric vortexes or skullcracks. A single large lifelink attacker like a batterskull can cause you to lose the game outright. Also remember if you only run a single mountain, a resolved PoP can kill you as fast as your opponent.

I'd replace Breaking Point with Anarchy or something that can deal with Leyline of Sanctity. As a general rule 'choice' effects like Breaking Point and Browbeat are usually bad, the exception being Vexing Devil.

I do like your list though. I've toyed with a R/B burn that also runs Death's Shadow (at least in the SB). I would replace a Searing Blaze with another Fireblast though. Fireblast is such an essential card that has won me so many games at least a turn earlier than I should have.

for the mainboard then possibly sub in flame rift for the PoP and also run 4 fireblast and only 3 searing blaze? also, sideboard would contain:
    vexing shushers
    ensnaring bridge
    pyroblast
    mindbreak trap
shattering spree or smash to smithereens?
    skullcrack or sulfuric vortex??

You make your own PoP hurt you more with your duals so you can squeeze in Bump? Hm... If you are going to go that route why no Bob?

looking at this now, PoP probably isnt the best card for that slot. I feel like bob wouldnt be as beneficial for the deck as possibly flame rift or sulfuric vortex though?
