We tried a variant of Standard Commander allowing you to up the quantity based on card rarity (C=4, U=3, R=2, M=1), and it worked pretty well.
The one rule we added that was different: Allow inclusion of creatures that share a non-Human creature race type with the Commander even if they are outside the Commander's Color Identity. It allowed people to play the WB Vampires in Olivia, Mobilized for War Standard Commander decks to fill out the tribal theme while preventing them from jamming in a bunch of White Sorcery spells. Thoughts?
If Commit // Memory’s Aftermath casting triggers the transform on Thing in the Ice, you will bounce all their creatures to their hand and then Memory will shuffle them back into their library. Also worth noting, you can cast Cut // Ribbons’s Aftermath for BB with X=0 to help remove Ice Counters from Thing in the Ice.
Sweet, a minotaur tribal commander that can't play Boros Reckoner because seriously screw the stupid hybrid mana rule.
A friend mentioned a Commander variant where you built decks in your Commander's color identity OR their (non-Human) Race Creature Type. Seemed like an interesting rule wrinkle. To be fair, they were trying to build their niece a Commander deck out of only Standard legal cards, so that is from where the rule came (trying to add the white / black vampires to her Olivia, Mobilized for War Commander deck).
The new Bolas walker isn't confirmed for Amonkhet. It's quite likely that he's in Hour of Devastation, since some leaked pack art had bolas on the front.
Yes, you are most likely right. Hope springs eternal / Chandra, Torch of Defiance can fill in nicely until our Dragon Overlord returns.

Synergies
Inspiring Statuary works well with Metalspinner's Puzzleknot to ramp you up and help you draw cards late game if things go sideways.

The Prowess trigger on Stormchaser Mage will allow it to survive Sweltering Suns
Thoughts? I am not posting this list in the Thread related to the now Banned Aetherworks Marvel.
5 Color Bolas is what I am expecting.
He absorbed the essence of the Maelstrom Nexus.
We have the card Cascading Cataracts ready to cast him.
We have this official Magic article describing how they extended the essence of Bolas into the five colors: http://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/card-preview/five-trials-2017-04-04 (Thank you to TheHat for the suggestion)
Are there any other references I missed to the God Pharaoh's 5 colors?
