Have you thought about Tormented Soul or Soltari Priest?? Also running WB means you have the right colors for the best kill spells in Modern, but I dont see any paths or doomblades, not to mention thoughtseize. Any reason you decided to not run them?
Hmm well the reason why I did not add path of Exile to the list is because it slipped my mind. Thought seize is alright but in my opinioncastigate takes the cake. Although it may be a one mana more expensive it gets it done with an added guarantee of exile without losing two life. I feel four unmakes as good as four doom blades because doom blades have limitations. (Color targeting, indestructible, regeneration) while unmake exiles. also the spells list is all wonky because I've changed it several time so I forgot to add those cards in.
I second the idea of removal spells suggested above, but also I like Nefarox, Overlord of Grixis. He may not have lifelink but he is a form of removal.
I personally like Necropolis Regent if you are looking for six drops. An exalted Tormented Soul can really start hammering away once he gets some counters. I just noticed you are only running 14 lands. With so many high cast creatures you really should the that count quite a bit so that you can play your turn 6 bomb on turn 6.
So If I were to have more lands how would I put them in? Also Necropolis regent is most definitely better than Ob. Since it could be used with contagion engine.
I would like to build a deck that can pump a medium amount of creatures, have good defense, and protect creatures from harm.
On another site I created a little representation of it for testplay. Only problem is that I don't know what to take out or put in. This is the deck so far.
The reasons why I would like to add those cards is because Xathrid Gorgon can be used as a defender that can stop a bog enemy from attacking. Sheoldred, Whispering One, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobiteand , Contagion Engine are good removal spells because they can grind down enemies to stop them from getting to big or remove a lot of smaller creatures. Soul warden can also help pump by giving me life which in turn can pump +1/+1 counters which can be proliferated.
A real person's perspective would be almost the same. Looking a card up, finding cards in the same condition, and then price accordingly. How do you think many shops price cards in their stores? They look up the current market value and go from there.
That being said, beat up foil cards are especially hard to sell. Foils are meant to look nice and shiny. If scuffed up and scratched, it defeats the purpose.
It's Almost mint except those thick scratches in its corner. Little thin almost non existent scratches on the face but sleeves would stop them from showing.
That's the best description.
I've had this Elspeth, Knight-Errant for Several Years. My friend gave me this foil version card for free because he did not want it any more as you can see from those to massive nicks in the corner and it also has tiny little scratches everywhere. I'm very grateful for this cards, but I was wondering how much would this card would be worth even with the scratches. I'm most definitely not going to sell it. I was just wondering the price of it as to know how lucky I am. That way I also know how it would take to get it replaced.
Lol joke right? I don't think they make one of those. Time Warp Time Walk
Only 2 blue cards I know that allow an extra turn!
Thanks you for your help, but either I'm going crazy or something because I could've sworn this card was in a combo repository or some thread involving doubling seasons. Also you forgot another card Time Stretch.
First, mill is quite hard to pull off as being your win-con. You are trying to burn 60 life (53 if you want to count their opening hand) while they just need to hit your dice for 20.
Second, it 'is' possible, but your deck needs to be incredibly focused on what it wants to do. If it were me, and using mill for a 1v1 style deck, here is a rough/first draft of a deck I might play:
My suggestion would be to decide whether your main plan is mill or damage, and then get rid of the cards that don't actually support the main plan. (Hint: Consuming Aberration supports both and does it well. Get ye 4.)
I think the deck is going to be equal parts Mill and Damage. For Instance Im going to add Avatar of Woe since it only needs ten creatures in a graveyard to cost for two. Also I was thinking about adding two Jace's Phantasms and two Hedron Crab

Would Desecration Demon be a good replacement?

I could add some brave the elements. Would Silence work also? Yeah I think I might add in Necropolis Regent

Is there any thing else I should do. Such as reduce the card count, swap cards out with better ones, add more creatures?
Thank you, man I'm the slowest guy on earth I looked at it twice but it'd didn't click. When I was going through gather.
Thanks you for your help, but either I'm going crazy or something because I could've sworn this card was in a combo repository or some thread involving doubling seasons. Also you forgot another card Time Stretch.
Why is a raven like a writing desk?
Unwinding Clock and Grindclock= almost perfect multiplayer mill.
Grimoire of the dead plus any card with //gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?text=+[madness">"]madness and Endless ranks of the dead = a good start for any complex combo.
Thanks but I don't think thats what I'm going for. But that looks like an impressive build, also it helped me realize what type of mana I should add.
