I think it's not in the same rule as another red decks. Isn't a devotion deck, no Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and no Fanatic of Mogis. Not a Boros Deck Wins also, no one-drop creatures and no Ash Zealot main, and I barely see lists running two main Assemble the Legion. That's why I'm putting the deck here in this section. A midrange deck usually runs more creatures. The main purpose here is to block opponent's threats (like a control deck) until I'm able to play my own (AtL, Elspeth, Dragon), but the deck can also take a more agressive role, especially against control.
My meta has a dominance of MonoB devotion, MonoU devotion, RDW/BDW and Esper (about 80% of the decks), and I think this deck can perform well against all but Esper, so I have 12 cards to side in against then. After some casual games I'm very tempted to go with it to a FNM, usually play with a RDW deck but it seems better to me.
Just posting here because it's a great place to know if I'm missing something important, or maybe I'm taking a good deck and making it worse.
