Jace flips and makes something smaller or flashback. most likely flash back. Narset pairs well with tasigur so you can filter the top card if its a land and you have 1 thing in your graveyard you would want to activate tasigur. see something worthwhile with something bad in your graveyard you draw it. also jace sets up a super cheap tasigur by needing 5 cards in your graveyard. later jace helps tasigur and narset helps as well so i see esper best friends being a thing everything works so well together. also liliana and sorin im sold

from what ive seen on cards like blood moon and hertiage druid which have exploded in case you dont know, is that they didn't get a reprint so the number in circulation is lower than it could be so demand stays the same or goes up will supply goes down(cards get lost, destroyed, horded, etc less cards end result) so thats why some of the cards that didn't get reprinted are going up as much as they are.

Well as it was stated at my lgs the real winner of a modern masters draft isnt who won its auctually whoever opened a tarmogoyf. and lets be honest if you have a 10 cent common and 325$ card unless you have multiple foil playsets of goyf you take the damn goyf. its worth about a playset of force of will or 2ish blue duals honestly its an ubsurdly costed card take it screw draft

They are not mutually exclusive. Flip Jace, then cast Tasigur. They actually both fuel each other.

im aware and honestly might be a decent control deck maybe esper with narset setting up tasigur a little bit the rebound and flashback would also be nice. play liliana baiting jace or a threat like tasigur esper best friends sounds good. heres to hoping gideon is a beast

I dont know too many people that have full sets of all 10 i know a few people who do have a lot though. myself i more or less just started getting duals and as of right now im interested in the ones ill be using now which is badlands, taiga, savanah in tiny and 2 bayous hopefully going up to 4 next week which will finish my legacy and ill go from there. just so expensive but little by little its not that bad though i havent looked into blue yet haha

Need to finish my bayou playset for legacy and slowly foiling my group hug edh deck

No scanner I slightly bend tested one and I the light on my phone and compared it to other duals I have the seem real they feel right as well I have a fake force of will which I've done bend and light tests to and I can tell a difference. I can try and get some sort of scan or pictures when I get home

I recently bought a badlands and bayou on ebay they seem to be real but they are also very mint like pack fresh and while I know this is not impossible it also feels very unlikely and I was thinking they have been in a starter deck so I was curious if they are a possible rare combination for starter decks. If not how likely are dual lands to be near mint to the point of brand new? Is it more common than I give it credit to? I can post pics when I get home as well if it helps

It doesn't hit a lot but display can effectively counter removal so if you need to keep something alive it might be worthwhile. Self inflicted wound could definItely be good against abzan

Display of dominance - Blanks removal hits a lot of different planeswalkers, hits both jeskai and temur ascendancy, whip of erebos. might be good getting rid of Ordeal of thassa or aqueous form

Rending volley - Hits uw heroic, hits some gw manifest though they can counter with temur sabertooth, Can hit some control creatures and is uncounterable against control

encase in ice - hits midrange, taps down a hornet's nest, tap down red sligh, tap down devotion though again countered by temur sabertooth

self inflicted wound - hits devotion decks though sacing a hornet queen token or later game mana dork or turning a useless creature face up is not ideal. hits some gr midrange could throw off the tempo hitting a mana dork early. Overall id rather play ultimate price

Surge of righteousness - kills red sligh, goblin rabblemaster though it could take a while to set up, kills thunderbreak regent taking 1 damage instead of 3 but can't kill stormbreath dragon.

So overall i see Display of Dominance, rending volley and encase in ice being more playable than the other 2. i think all could be decent sb cards definatley all designed to be sb cards.
Curious how other people feel about the cards and if i missed anything id love to hear about what i missed bc i would like to know if i missed any deck match ups where these could be used though if i see a color i can probably figure out if it makes sense.

For sets coming out it could be fun. origins is pretty much just a core set so if you like core sets it might be entertaining. Zeendikar could be fun im excited to see what they do with it fetches or no fetches im super excited. Modern masters if you get to draft or open it could be fun as well. it really depends how much is printed. Wizards likes to do some sort of summer set archenemy, planeschase or recently conspiracy and modern masters.

So i decieded i want to fill a big ultra pro binder (180 cards) with something terrible kinda as a joke and hand it to people as a joke trade binder. i've looked at doing 30 of each lace, all vizzerdrix or all storm crow, which i feel are all usual suspects for this kind of thing. ive price them all out to be between 27-35ish on tcg. ive also considered doing steamflogger boss or chimney imps but im also curious if there's anything else worth doing. im looking for something either super terrible like the laces, confusing or just a lot of text for no real ability or just funny in some way. im not looking to spend a lot but if its something worthwhile at least to me none of these cards are auctually worth while i will do it

Thanks for the responses seems about right. ive kinda wanted rashida for a while so now ill have it might be able to do something with hivis. small investment on my part so it isnt a huge loss and they can only really go up from where they are so maybe it'll work out in my favor at some point probably not though
