Has anyone noticed yet that a card like Vedalken Orrery lets you go off during your cleanup step without the need for a discard outlet? (Normally spells and abilities can't be played during cleanup, but if any abilities trigger as a result of discarding to hand size, a priority window is created, and after it's all over the cleanup step is repeated so you get to discard your Salvage to hand size again. Rule 514.3a.) Orrery is usually a good way for combo decks to get set up, preferable in that regard over one of the weaker discard outlets like Oona's Prowler, and getting to 8 cards in hand isn't that hard with this commander.
I've seen this happen in tas it really didn't do anything he ended up just casting chord of calling
Well, if you have Tasigur in play already, you can proceed to draw your entire deck. Combined with some way to win at instant speed like Blue Sun's Zenith or Yeva, Nature's Herald -> Titania, Protector of Argoth into Leechridden Swamp and then tap/untap that a billion times (with any other black permanent in play) and you auto-win.
Or you can just do it with standard removal spells if you have the right ones in your library/graveyard. I play Tasigur with the Elder/Maze combo and both Beast Within and Reality Shift in the deck. This destroys all your opponents' permanents (replacing them with Beast tokens) then exiles their libraries (by Shift-ing away the Beasts and all the manifest creatures that follow). If you don't have Shift in the deck you can do something like Cyclonic Rift or Cryptic Command to bounce all the beasts and something like Memory's Journey, Academy Ruins, or Volrath's Stronghold to make sure you can kill before getting decked yourself.
I like Tasigur, the Golden Fang for this purpose. Your gameplan fills your graveyard with answers (counterspells, removal, etc.) to common table-wide problems, and when you activate Tasigur, you can choose an opponent who shares the same problem as you (e.g. someone who wants the same permanent removed as you) and tell them how you'll use it if they let you get it back. This ups the social aspect of the game, without the time-expending feel of "group hug" decks.
In Tariel, you can 'Lark back Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit and Murderous Redcap. It's infinite damage with any repeatable sac outlet. Since you already have Mikaeus you can also go infinite with him, Redcap, and a sac outlet.
Some of the various tricks that the Disk enables by being an Old Card and not simply saying "1, T, Sacrifice: Destroy all nonland permanents" have been mentioned (Darksteel Forge, leaving your planeswalkers around). My favorite use in this regard was a Titania, Protector of Argoth deck that used Disk or Powder Keg in combination with Mycosynth Lattice, Living Plane, or Nature's Revolt to wipe the whole board and leave a bunch of 5/3 elementals. MLD is a lot less frustrating to play against when it pops out 55 power worth of creatures onto an empty battlefield...
A tremendous card for Ezuri elves decks where you can fetch the Realm Seekers with Skyshroud Poachers at end step, then untap and activate Ezuri to deal 20-40 points of trample (potentially getting a land like Cradle in between to enable the mana).
Drownyard Temple for Titania.
Medomai/Blade of Selves only works if you have the Gallery, otherwise the Legend Rule will leave you with only one attacking Medomai.
Be sure to run one or more of Tolaria West, Expedition Map, and Weathered Wayfarer to tutor for that Inkmoth Nexus (or Strip Mine, or Petrified Field, etc.). Just remember you still need to pay 1 to give the awakened Nexus infect.
