@ Navy Joe - i was looking at the wrong reports definitely, and from some time ago.
I realize now this deck is essentially casual, and it doesn't particularly belong on this forum, so if there's a way to delete it, I'd like to. You'll have to excuse that while being a good deck on the microcosmic scale I'm used to playing in, this does not warrant any competitive player's review.
Incidently, I haven't given up on the idea and if I come up with something that makes more sense, I'll post it.
Thanks! This is a much more practical way of getting combo. I have reworked the thing into a cheerios deck, again thx to herbert west for pointing me in the direction of the modern usage of kobolds.
The as nauseum angle is very interesting too! I have not yet studied it, but intend to.
Ah, well, I've never been in a tournament. All I did for research was look up winning decks from articles and most of those decks seemed to favor a turn 2 ermanakul, but I suppose that information was limited and antiquated. Thanks for your advice, it is very helpful!
I have never heard of this! sounds very cool. I admit I'm an utter noob with newer cards, but I played 24/7 when I was a kid. Just rediscovered it, so current deck archetypes are sometimes a mystery to me. Thanks for your help!
I've made this deck as a reaction to the graveyard-interactive decks that seem to dominate the tournament scene as far as I've read. I admit I don't know much about pro stuff though I've played since I was but a wee saproling and The Dark was just coming out..
the strategy is: to do what green does best and just keep slangin creatures, some like skinshifter and roowalla have meta-game abilities so all the mana goes to use. I added a dash of black to compensate for green's lack of removal. I probably could use glimpse of nature and many much more practical cards than the following.
Any and all suggestions welcome!

4 ground seal
4 elephant grass

4 birds of paradise

2 basking rootwalla

2 ambush viper

(Mods please delete, I'm not sure how to)
I generate an infinite combo with curio + genesis chamber + pocket aces (kobolds)
or curio + kobolds + brain freeze.
i realize this probably isn't seaworthy on the tournament scene, but I would like it to be someday as good as it could be. Any suggestions welcome!
