    Already run a recent sage main. I would run the rips but my only white source is a single horizon canopy. I try with the lead some more.

    the deck is a coco chord style. i was thinking of fecundity as well but the prowess has great synergy if it stays out but doesn't work against anger of the gods since they get exiled and not in graveyard.

    Here is my sideboard for Dallas gp. Running a basic G/B/w build.

    I feel like it covers the major bases. I feel like 80% of the decks I will run into burn, jund, merfolk, aggro guide decks, infect and affinity and I feel main board is set for most common and board is set for all mainstream decks. I will probably be wrecked by any scapeshift, tron, and rg titan but those are bad match ups so ***** luck if I run into those a bunch. What do you think?

    Won a pptq with black elves. Used chord style with main board bullets replacing nettles. Bullets were spellskite, eternal witness, scavenging ooze, elvish champion, and replaced one of my ezuri with a craterhoof behemoth. Board was more bullets plus ran the fink melira combo as well in board

    Ive played this deck at fnm and a local con tournament. At the con it beat both jund and reanimator. With jund it depends whos faster with mana who wins and with reanimator they dont stand a chance. Aggro beat me out because it was still being prototyped and the sideboard was really last minute for the con. But to it the fnm updated and beat aggro very fairly to no losses on any deck except control beat me every time. Any way taking it again to this weeks fnm with control being fixed in my deck anyway heres a look at it and im asking for any other minute changes any one has for something I might of missed.

    The new card set as far as i can tell will have very little multicolored cards that will be what ravnica is about while threos should be something of having a lot of mono colored badies with big cost. The reasoning behind this is that ravinca let us have a lot of color options and the ability to play a lot different color combos. With the removal of dual lands and only giving us gates they are forcing hand and making it where playing three color decks will give you the best card choices working in unision. With mulicolored cards in theros there will probably be as many as the innistard block had some but not a lot. The theme and colors that will probably have their hay day next block will be red and white for theros and the others getting their own repective color repersentation. i would diffently buy any removal that gets cheap especially supreme verdict and renouce the guilds. Detetion sphere is what im picking up when the price drops even further so i can resell for better but im holding onto the verdicts for a while. Hexproof will be dead this block and making your armies indestructible will be the new because to many cards allow sacrifcing creatures and to many borad wipes. Buy any big good guys you can get your hands on because casting cost wont figure into this next batch as it did last block.

    Well not in a since of Edh style with a commander I feel to much is emphasized on getting the best for your deck or card to work with. My Edh is hydras because its my favorite tribal and my commander is vorel so once a hydras out pull him in and finish quickly. But what I'm looking for is something like a nuzlocke format. Where its a challenge but also to have a sort of connection with your cards rather than jumping from good card to new card which it's cool to like new cards just as quick but I don't like the whole child aspect of jumping from a new shiny toy to another. Here's a list that's been going through my head.

    1. Your deck can't be more than two colors.
    2. You can only play basic lands ie the ones that come in every pack. No duals
    3. You can only have one copy of each card
    4. You can't have more than two tribes in your deck
    5. You can only play common instant or socercy cards
    6. Any rarity for creatures is okay but their price cap is only $2
    7. You can't have more than ten instant or sorcery cards in a deck
    8. Any creature you lose is out for the rest of the match ie lose him I game one he can't be used game two

    Idk this is what's going through my head it might be stupid but for some reason the only thing about magic that I think is missing is a format that lets u use the cards you like and still have any chance with them. Idk ill try with my group and see what happens ill post the deck ill be making later following what rules I've set anybody have any other rules they might think would make this what it needs to be better

    I like where all this is going. The tribal theme was what I was thinking at first and setting a cap on price is another one that would be very good too. Also only basic land cards no duals or shocks or lands that have abilities. I was also thinking down the lines of Edh style with only one card copy in deck. Any body have anymore thoughts.

    hello, ive been reading nuzlockes comics the last couple of days and ive been wandering is there any type of nuzlocke challenge in magic. i know there is the fixed budget one or the casual incline budget where you sell your cards and grow from there from your pack winnings. But is there a nuzlocke challenge where you can only use said cards or something of the sort. im a really casual magic player but like playing in fnms and ptqs when they are close but i find myself not having any connection to the cards i get. the kindof deep heart feeling you get when you play a game and really feel the character or here the cards. if not what rules would there be?
