I don't keep my hopes up for abandoning the Reserved list. I don't think that it will ever be removed, maybe they will open the loop hole again for the premium reprints but not anyhting else.
As for a nostalgia block the name sounds too generic even though it will be interesting but without the super long texts they used to have.
Considering that blocks are designed years ahead of their release, yeah, if that is going to happen it will be a fortunate coincidence, nothing more.

There is a reason why the fetches (and the shock lands, and the tap lands) have setting neutral names. They can be reprinted whenever they feel like reprinting them. I predict that the next time we see the Onslaught/Worldwake fetchlands we will get the entire 10 card cycle. And it won't be in a "Return to Zendikar" style set.
Just because the blocks are designed years ahead they know at which point they will make an experiment set just to see the reaction of the consumers.
The fetchlands where never connected to Ottaria. It happened to first appear there, but in flavour they are connected to Zendikar. At that time they only fetchable duals where the ABU lands. At standard you could only fetch basics.
Yes we understand that the names are much more generic now, that's why we get Overgrown Tombs and not Llanowar wastes anymore so they can be reused when ever they want. But do you see ever a Steam Ventsetc. printed in another set other than Ravnica?
The next time we get fechlands I'm not sure we will get the whole 10 even though MaRo said otherwise.
They are setting up the pieces for "Ruins Of Zendikar" much like they did with "Invasion" Back on ( But now with Planeswalker cards) If they just said "oh! next block is return to zendikar" then the hole epicness of a Planeswalkers vs Eldrazis block is lost... Don't you all see Kiora's backstory? Don't you know tha Gideon and Jace went to Ravnica to make (eventually) a comeback to fight the Eldrazi in ZEN? Don't you Know That Nissa is after Sorin to ask help for seal the Titans again? Don't you know that Chandra is after Ramaz, Who set up for her to come to the eye of Ugin, and that she holds the Ghostfire( the first card to name the planeswalker Ugin)(way Before ZEN Block)(Ugin-Sorin-?????? are the planeswalkers that traped the Eldrazi Titans in Zendikar) ?
You have to wait. When we Return to ZEN you will know by sight that it is the case( and way before they release). And you know that its not the case for now.

Why are we assuming that reprints of fetches have to be in a Zen2 block. They can make them the set of duals in any block even if it is not as thematically correct as it is in zen2.
They could but I think that from now on Fetches are connected to Zendikar.
They could do the brave move and print in a Mset for example but I don't think they want fetches in a core set because the target group are new players.

Well beside the joke part IT IS most likely that we will revisit another "loved" plane before we revisit Zendikar. I suppose Zendikar 2 will be kept to be released after a "bad" block just to save the day. And I don't mean "some people say it's ok, others say it's not" block. I mean a total failure (experiment in something?) block.
Just imagine playing a bad block and then get a spoiler that in 6 months they will reprint Zendikar. *poof* you don't care about the current block anymore, you just wait until it rotates.
Alara may be revisited because of all the wedge thing that could happen which will totally change the feel of Alara, but I don't see coming back to Dominaria. We had that story for 8 years in a row and it ended with big blast leaving nothing behind. Maybe if we ever get a nostalgia block again many years from now we will hear something about Dominaria.
The decklists look super boring. They only put Remand in there for people to buy 3 and 4 copies of this DD and make it again a success. Jace and Vraska are in circulation for a year and a half now, so anybody who wanted them (especially Jace) either opened them or traded for them months ago. This whole story is to stop people from shouting for a Remand reprint.

That is the worst expansion symbol ever! It's so.... nothing. Very uninspired.
As for the cards they are too many options. Some good few and some bad few. Ofcourse it will have a chase card in there (probably Damnation). The picture looks like Rout to me.
It's a fine intro deck. Good cards for its money and FNM playable (Unless the players at your LGS think they are at a PRO TOUR). Throw in some Garys and some extra black cards you might have e.g. second Demon, second Downfall etc. and you have something you can have fun with.
Thoughtseize is absent because as someone told earlier in the thread it's probably in the Modern Event deck.
The only con is the lack of a Scry land. They should have put one there in the expense of some other rare.
My thoughts are with you MeliraPod, but I'm sure you will disappoint me!
Any way, we will have to wait and see the contents to see if it justifies the price. There is a very high chance there will be a fetchland in there and then maybe a couple of dual lands(painlands, buddy lands, fast lands). Who knows?
But the inclusion of the accessories (sleeves, dice,...) makes me think that it leaves less "money" for the cards. A solid 75 card box of a modern deck with nothing else it would have more chances to be something good.
