I made the video so I can answer any questions that might come up.
The sleeves seem to be your average Ultra Pro sleeves, given the shiny printing on the back they will probably be ok but the usual wear will very soon be visible. Cute for home usage, not recommended for tournament play or heavy use.
The box itself is quite stable, it's unusual to divide a box like this but this should be ok. Main problem is the lid which is not attached to the box, it comes off easily. I wouldn't carry the box around in a backpack with some rubber band...
I think I noticed that the basic lands all have the same artwork, "Pro style". Is it true?
The box looks kinda "bad quality" but I really like the dice. Not that it is the main reason to buy it. I hope the sleeves don't get destroyed at the first suffle. Overall it's just for the cards.
I also preordered from my LGS for 75 euros. A little bit pricey compared to 75$ MSRP but I decided to buy it anyway to support the store. I also learned that he will bring only four copies of the deck, assuming it is the first batch it is very low.
The seeded packs are geting really boring. I suppose I don't want any more dice, I have enough. Bringing back the 6 boosters with the non-playable promo would nice for a change. If they feel risky enough they should start reprinting Tournament packs. I really miss tournament packs.
My only concern with this deck is that we now have a barrier for the modern event decks. If the series continue we know what to expect in the future. Some decks with a couple of pricy cards and the core of a Tier 2 deck. Maybe we will have an exception at some point and get a super chase card but I doubt it. I wouldn't expect seeing any fetches or goyf's, cliques, bob or any other expensive singletons in these ever.
I don't say that it is bad because I think with this kind of product WotC found the perfect combination of a fun and "non-horded for it's cards" deck.
They could have made s budget Soul Sisters deck and leave the sleeves out. It would go for about $55 and it would be more competitive. The good news is that you can use some of those cards to make a Soul Sisters.dec.
Well it's not what I was expecting for but it will do its job well. As previously stated, if it had more value it will be hoarded but now we suppose it will be bought by players who want to get into modern and see what it is all about.
I think I will get a copy if the price it's not translated in 75 euros in my store. Most of the times 25$ is 25euro there.
I hope they keep continue with mechanics that offer deck consistency in limited. Mechanics that make it easier to end up with a good hand. I think these mechanics give us more decisions to make during a game. Theros offered:
- Scrying lets you dig for specific answers. (Scry for lands, scry away lands, scry for removal..)
- Bestow gives you options for two different game states.
- Monstrosity gives you flood ensurance.
What's the chance that scry will stick around with the next block?
We may see some scry spells in M15 but I don't think there will be anything in the next block.
I would vote for checklands. It would be a couple of months with shcklands still in play and might be ridiculous but I think they are the perfect balanced lands for a core set.
Edit: Saw it now!!!

Maybe you should read the post again.
It says it may be back one day with another name and tweaked not that it is in Khans.
