This seems okay to me. Cheaply costed, but kind of narrow. It shouldn't make the mainboard of most decks. It could probably see sideboard play and play in limited.
This card seems pretty decent to me. With the departure of what would be it's main competitor, Mizzium Mortars, I think this card may have what it takes to be standard playable. The damage to mana cost ratio seems really good. I could see this being played in a ramp deck with big creatures to make good use of ferocious. Do you guys think this card has what it takes for standard play?
I really like this guy a lot. It promotes your raid abilities triggering by making your creatures extremely hard to kill while attacking, and has a decent 3/3 haste body to boot. This guy seems like a solid curve topper for aggro or even midrange. I might actually like this card better than Zurgo, Helmsmasher.
The entire RTR block and M14 will rotate once the next block, Khans of Tarkir, releases it's first set. As for the toolkit, it really isn't worth to get unless you need some of the commons and un-commons. The best ways to get cards you need, value wise, is to either buy a booster box or by the single cards you need. If you need some of the commons and un-commons, a booster box gives you most of those you would need.
Junk superfriends seems to be a very interesting and powerful deck. Using Planeswalkers such as Ajani Steadfast to beef up, and later prevent damage to, our creatures and other planeswalkers. Liliana Vess helps us keep the opponent's hand size down and search for other planeswalkers. Courser of Kruphix and Nyx-Fleece Ram help block early on as well as provide lifegain. Reaper of the Wilds is a resilient and powerful creature who can make combat harder for our opponent and Brimaz, King of Oreskos makes more blockers and is a good blocker himself. The cards in this deck have lots of synergy without lacking power. The key to making this deck work is staying alive until later in the game to play our walkers and gain advantage.
Suggestions would be appreciated. Please don't suggest cards that are going to rotate out soon (RTR and M14 cards). Thanks!
Thanks for the tips, it probably could use an Elspeth in the main. As for other creatures, there seems to be a lack of other worthwhile soldiers to use. Hopefully after rotation more standard playable soldiers will be made. (losing Precinct captain really hurts)
Hey guys! I had an idea for a mainly white soldier deck that splashed black for removal and disruption. Suggestions would be appreciated. Please note: I haven't made deck lists on this forum before so the format is weird.
EDIT: I have found out how to format my decks better. I also considered your suggestions and make changes to the deck including adding more soldier creatures and making it mono white now. Thanks guys!
Nessian Game Warden would help you draw into more creatures with the large amount of forests played in this deck. Bow of Nylea provides more green devotion, triggers constellation from your Eidolon of Blossoms, and makes combat much tougher for your opponent. You could also play Voyaging Satyr to untap your Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx.
Since the introduction of Journey Into Nyx, many new decks, such as B/W Humans and Mono Black Aggro, are now able to be competitive. While decks such as, Mono-Black devotion, are still common, the addition of the new cards from Journey have diversified the meta largely.
White looks like the way to go. Most white rares this time around are at least decent. If the previous posts about God distribution are true then possibly getting Athreos makes choosing white even better.
Suggestions would be appreciated. Please don't suggest cards that are going to rotate out soon (RTR and M14 cards). Thanks!
