I was looking to get some help on improving my pioneer flash deck, I seen it was already done by someone else but I wanted to take my own take on it as well. I seen a few versions in standard floating around, and thought it was possible to make a pioneer variant as well. I believe I got the basic skeleton built but, I'm still at a cross road mainly with my instants, and some other cards I wanted to consider. Any direction or suggestions are greatly appreciated, I really want to maximize this decks potential.
Hey Everyone, I was looking to get some feedback about this deck I just randomly through together out of extra stuff I had laying around With Xira Arien commanding. I wanted to keep it pretty budget as a deck just to experiment with it's unique style of play. I wanted to get something going with lands and brewed this interesting concoction together, and was hoping to get the communities views on it. I put a brief description on how the deck works, but I'm always open to ideas on what to tweak as well :).
A pretty interesting combo deck, that allows you to stay under the radar from your opponents, while just playing at your own pace. An under the radar land based combo deck that allows you to play at your pace while your opponents don't see you as a threat, Once you have enough land down, to support yourself and your sneak tactics, that's when you go nuts and use that extra land to abuse cards like borborygmos enraged and discarding cards and lands due to cards like land's edge, and seismic assault :D. Worm Harvest, and Terravore and back ups, just in case you went through to many lands or haven't been able to find the right combo pieces. You have your mass amount of Fog effects in here as well as well just in case your opponents decide to bring you down as well but can be a deterrence as well for instance having a dawnstrider on the field. If fogs don't work to deter, you always have soul conduit to fall back on.
Hello everyone, I recently was playing a game of commander and I never had both of these enchantments on the field before, but I managed to have both Humility and Opalescence on the field at the same time soooo...how exactly does that work, because I apparently broke magic according to my play group.
Edit: I forgot to mention I also had Enchanted Evening on the field as well.
I was playing Commander with a group of friends, and I run Angus Mackenzie as my commander for this deck I was using. I had Azor's Elocutorson the field with some other cards, but importantly I had Platinum Emperion on the field as well.I was attacked by one of my of my opponents and let the attack go through, but with Platinum Emperion's effect my life doesn't change, my friends assured me that even though I didn't lose life due to the effect that it still counts as damage and Azor's Elocutors loses a counter because of that. Since my life total didn't change, and even though attacking creature went through and still still hit me, does it still count as damage in this situation, and I still remove a counter from Azor's Elocutors?
Seeing all the love that the other two gods from HOU have been getting, I wanted to try my luck at the god that was sitting on the back burner and give some sting to the other two. I like the aspect of The Scorpion Godand wanted to try the whole -1/-1 counter theme, but alas I find myself not knowing if i built around him correctly and wanted to get some feedback and suggestions on how to improve my current build. Even the odd god out deserves some player base as well :tongue:.
Hey everyone I had a question regarding atm triggered abilities, so if a creature is cast like leveler or eater of daysis cast and you use something like stifle ,Disallow or trickbind to counter it's negative effect, would the creature still be cast? Or would countering it's ability destroy the creature?
Hey everyone, I recently got Angus Mackenzie and thought about making an edh deck around him...The thing is I don't know much about him except he's a pillow fort, fog type of commander. I wanted to stick with that shell but also throw a few things of my own in there as well such as Elderscale Wurm and Platinum Emperion for back up if i didn't have any fog effects and if Angus Mackenzie was tapped and I had no way to untap him, as well as some fun things like the classic StasisChronatog combo. The win conditions are pretty self explanatory in the forms of Darksteel ReactorHelix Pinnacle and if i must make it a draw with Divine Intervention. I was hoping to get some feed back and critique on my build in hopes that I could find ways to improve it since I'm not really a defensive type of player. I look forward to hearing from you all and of course I'll be happy to answer any questions you all may have about my choices :).
Oh ok thank you for clearing that up.. I just had 1 other question on the topic of marina. If a player player eon hub, karona would then have that control effect negated since no one would get an upkeep any longer?
This has been racking my brain for sometime now, but if Karona, False God was given vigilance and attacked with, would her effect still kick in even though she hasn't been tapped, and her effect says that your opponent untaps her then gains control of her? or would she stayon her oroginal owners board since since not tapped so her control can't be switched?
Looking for a new brew I was able to dig this gem out of my collection buried within :). Braids, Conjurer Adept just seems to interesting not to have at the helm of a commander deck..I used to play with her counterpart Braids, Cabal Minion, and so in honor of that amazing card I felt like bringing the adept up for a run. The main route I'm trying to run is a political type of game with a bit of a douchiness in a sense hence some of the creatures. This type of build is new to me since I've never really played politics with my play group but i figured why not just have 1 deck just to pull out every so often like this..so here is my concoction as of present. It's kind of honoring both version of Braids I believe and though it seemed like a pretty good build I was hoping to get some feedback on it on how to improve it since I'm not to familiar with the blue version of Braids.
