Cato the ElderRW
Legendary Creature - Human Soldier (R)
Whenever you attack with more creatures than the number of lands defending player controls, attacking creatures gain first strike and are indestructible until end of turn.

"Why hello, young trainer..." Avis starts to say before Erika pipes up when you say you'd be willing to do a favor for them, "I've always wanted to see someone catch a Pokémon, my dad says I'm not old enough to catch them myself and he's been meaning to show me but he's always so busy. Could you show me how to catch a Pokémon?"
Meanwhile, a Zigzagoon can be seen in the tall grass nearby...
What do you do?
"Alright, Avis! I can show you how it's done... I hope! This is my first time, too, but I've seen it a bunch! Go get 'im, Scymon! Catch him off guard with your Vacuum Wave, but don't hit too hard."
"Scyyyyyy!"
Scymon lunges forward in a flurry of fighting strikes...
You can't already exile any doom blades anyway. The spell is exiled "as it resolves" so it would kill the creature (and still get exiled after, which is odd but can't be helped without making it WAY too wordy).
The spellward can't do anything about removal unless it has something "stored" in it.
Barbs of Overexpansion3R
Enchantment (R)
Whenever a player taps a land for mana, Barbs of Overexpansion deals 1 damage to that player for each color of mana that land could produce beyond the first.
Demonic Statuary4BB
Artifact (R)
At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player sacrifices a creature.
Whenever a creature enters the battlefield under your control, Demonic Statuary becomes a 7/7 Demon creature with flying and trample until end of turn.
Spellward (Whenever this creature becomes the single target of an instant or sorcery spell, choose one — Exile that spell as it resolves; or that spell becomes a copy of a card exiled with this creature and put that exiled card into its owner’s graveyard.)
Good with sorceries:
You cast Monstrous Growth on it. It now has a one-time "shield."
Potentially crazy with instants:
You attack and your opponent Murders it. In response to the Spellward trigger, you cast Giant Growth, then turn the opponent's Murder into a second Giant Growth.
What it doesn't do:
"Counter" removal spells right off the bat. Even if you choose the exile option, the spells still resolve.
I'm thinking this could probably go to GWU? Does that sound right? Are there any glaring problems with it that I'm ignoring as per usual?
"Awright, just what I wanted. I dub thee, Scymon!"
"Scyther! Scyther!"
"You'll figure it out eventually. Now come on, we've got some adventuring to do!"
"Scyyyyyther!"
Looking around town, I note father and daughter Feil. I will go up to them and ask, "Hello, locals! I'm just starting out on my new journey here and looking to help some people out along the way. Is there anything a couple good folks like you might need?"
If they offer work, I will take it. Regardless, I will then go west and look for pokemon.[dice]100[/dice]
Savren the SlayerW
Legendary Creature - Human Solder (M)
When Savren the Slayer enters the battlefield, destroy target creature with power 6 or greater.

I saw a thread recently that was talking about generic mana costs and I wanted to play with the design space of caring how you pay the generic mana costs.
The cycle at the top are enablers for the other cards, which all actually have the keyword.

Magecraft (As you cast a colored spell, if the mana spent to pay that spell’s generic mana costs could pay for this card’s mana cost, you may reveal this card from your hand and cast a copy of it without paying its mana cost.)

Sorcery (R)
Name a card. For each permanent you control with the chosen name, you may choose one — Put a token onto the battlefield that’s a copy of it; or draw a card.
Magecraft (As you cast a colored spell, if the mana spent to pay that spell’s generic mana costs could pay for this card’s mana cost, you may reveal this card from your hand and cast a copy of it without paying its mana cost.)

Tactical War Cry :1mana::symr::symg::symw:
Sorcery (R)
Put two +1/+1 counters on each creature you control.
Target creature gains lifelink until end of turn.
Target creature gains trample until end of turn.
Target creature gains first strike until end of turn.
Magecraft (As you cast a colored spell, if the mana spent to pay that spell’s generic mana costs could pay for this card’s mana cost, you may reveal this card from your hand and cast a copy of it without paying its mana cost.)
My main question here is whether the cards are overpowered, or whether it's OK because you don't get any extra value until you're casting a card with at least a 3 in its cost, and even then, your mana base needs to be right for it. I'm sure there's some potential for abuse, but is that so bad?
Name: Frizz Garland
Gender: Male
Starter: Scymon (Male Scyther)
Age: 14
Origin: Pallet Town
Appearance: Middling height with spiky red hair, wears a blue vest over a black shirt and red cargo shorts. Carries his pokedex on a wristband sling.
Goal: Explore and bond with a strong team of pokemon!
Aurific Transmitter1UU
Artifact Creature - Construct (U)
Hexproof
Each Aura you control that's attached to another creature gains all abilities of each Aura you control attached to Aurific Transmitter.
2/2
Teamwork (This creature gets +1/+1 for each creature type that isn’t shared with this creature among creatures you control that share a type with this creature.)
The idea is that it rewards you for having a diversity of creature that share a species but differ in class, or vice versa, or both.
So let's say you have this card on the battlefield:
If you also have two Nettle Sentinels and a Court Archers, your Elf Archer Example gets +2/+2, one from the "Warrior" type on your other Elves, and one from the "Human" type on your other Archer.
Given that goal, is there a better wording than what I have? Is this an interesting mechanic for a tribal block of other themes to be determined? Would it be better as an ability word that could have varying effects?
