It doesn't work at all with Green Sun's Zenith but it's still a nice artifact that plays good defense and offense. It's just so module in that it can go into any deck and can be played at any point in the game. Coming down early to stop a flyer or being cast late as a finisher is a nice choice to have on a colorless card. Will test.
Flametongue Kavu in two parts. The 2 punishing damage is what puts it over the top for me since I can see him just being run out on T3 against slower decks. I'll test him out for sure.
Yes, thanks. I'll be cutting Sahili, the Gifted and keeping Sublime Artificer. StG has been good for us when she makes decks but she proved to be a little too niche and hasn't seen enough main decks. I'll also be trying Niv-Mizzet, Parun in my next update to try to focus more on spells.
My Simic section doesn't currently have a true direction and Oko fits perfectly into that theme. Just a good card that causes some chaos on the battlefield.
I'd like this a lot more if Swift End were an instant, even with the life loss. Still worth considering... not sure what a cut for testing would be here.
It's so similar to big Vraska I don't think I need to make the change. Garruk makes better creatures but Vraska's -3 is better for Cube since it has the option of killing artifacts or enchantments. They are so close. Like how many games would this win you that Vraska wouldn't?
Garruk's token generating ability is exponentially better than Vraska's. Stronger on offense and defense, it's a lot easier to swarm or kill one of your creatures and fire off Garruk's ultimate the next turn.
That's true. I didn't take into account how much easier it is for Garruk to ultimate. That being said, Garruk's ultimate is more "fragile" as it depends on having a board presence while Vraska's is more final. Garruk probably edges out Vraska ever so slightly but I think you'd only want to run one of the two and the power difference between them is very small.
This card looks fantastic! 6 loyalty on turn 3 is no joke. Early in the game or at parody you're going to get a few loots off of it while completely distracting your opponent. Then when you're the aggressor this just wins the game. +2/+0 first strike AND trample. That's a hard race to win when facing down those creatures.

I think this narrowly misses most powered cubes. A 2/2 flyer for 2 is a fine rate but boring on its own and I think the 2BB mana cost is too steep for an aggro deck. If it could block I could it being played in a midrange shell but since it can only attack I don't think it actually belongs in midrange. And when judged strictly an aggressive card, I feel there are better aggro cards out there. That being said, I wouldn't fault anyone for testing this and I bet it sticks in a lot of lower powered or larger cubes.
I'm slightly intrigued by this card too but the small body and the one-time-use of its ability worries me. Dauntless Bodyguard is good because it's a good attacker that can save another creature from any death including a wrath effect. This Rescuer is not wrath protection and it can't protect anything the turn it comes down. If it attacked well I would test but that 2/2 body I fear is just too lackluster.
Let us know how your testing goes, it is a very unique ability.
Aurelia was terrible in my experience. Her immediate impact was just too little when boros aggro wanted to be closing the game and a rando midrange beater is not how I want to use my gold slots. I've replaced her with Heroic Reinforcements which has been performing very well in my boros decks.
Green finally gets a 4 drop that's great in multiple archtypes. Vigilance and haste is just mean.
