Just goes to show that the Japanese really aren't afraid at all of trying totally-out-of-the-blue jank while we in the west are busy refining the well trodden path
I also love the list because it's dirt cheap so I can easily "invest" in actually building it in paper without any potential regret.
Basically it seems to be running on the pillowfort/slightly controlling plan until it can set up Belcher+Endless Horizons, while also using Elspeth/Luminarch Ascension as an alternative wincon.
Have you considered Gideon, Martial Paragon from the Duel deck? Blessed Alliance might also be a nice card since it can either kill stuff or untap 2 of your creatures.
Important here to remember is that the Wrath doesn't care how or why your lands are tapped the next turn, they still don't untap, regardless if they were used to pay for the Wrath or not.
The interesting deck that has not seen any coverage (deck tech, or on twitch) is Temur (RUG) Energy, which has a 82% conversion rate.
Also, conversion rates are not a perfect measure of a deck's potential, since a player can miss day 2 because of a bad draft record, and because statistics break down when there is not enough data (a deck with 1-2 players can easily go 0 or 100%).
You posted the day 2 conversion rates.
I'm talking about the day 3 conversion rates (Top 8 decks).
Has the two deck format been defined yet?
Zombies & Marvel?
Considering BG Energy has a better conversion rate than Zombies & Marvel combined I'm gonna go with "No".
Is that an entirely fair comparison? Zombies and Marvel between them are like 150 decks whereas BG energy was what, 10? There's obviously no way a big portion of 150 decks can D2 if spaces are capped
It is, because we are talking about conversion rates, which means if the decks are equally strong each of them would have the same conversion rate.
A higher rate means a stronger deck which means more people are likely to play it at the next event.
Well, that's assuming conversion rates are 100% dependent on constructed play of course, which it hasn't been this weekend thanks to the intermittent drafting.
Blessed Alliance is also against Death's Shadow since you can give the life to your opponent and that way get them back to 13, or more.

Are addition "lock" cards that combo with Mishra.
Mycosynth Lattice also turns all your non-artifact permanents into combo-pieces for Mishra.
Would that have a place in this thread or is it strictly green based decks?
Kinda fitting that it would be 1/3rd of the 24 decks in the top 8s and win 1/3rd of the GPs this weekend I suppose.
I also play with Aetherflux Resevoir because looping Colossi into eachother while saccing all my artifacts is hilarious.
What are you talking about? There was a mono-b Zombie list in the Top 8.
Anyone playing with Monarch cards should be running Delaying Shield.

But the theory is still very fair.
