In my playgroup, when we get together for some casual fun we almost always drink beer. Hilarity usually ensues in one form or another towards the mid to end game. It's like a test of endurance to see who can keep it the most coherent.
That being said however, I do not drink caffeine ever.
First off, I want to thank you for your excellent article. I've been playing for a decent amount of time and with white being my favorite color, this seems to be a pretty definitive guide. This has shown me quite a few great tricks that will up my game. I've been wanting to run a mono white for awhile, and this inspires me.
An excellent white card that I believe is worth mentioning is Battletide Alchemist. This card has bought me time for Felidar Sovereign many times. (Which considering I run a cleric deck is really easy.) As long as you can keep them covered they do absolute wonders.
Again though, thank you very much for writing this! I loved it.
I quit at the start of 8th edition because of the new borders. However, since I've gotten back into magic I highly prefer the new borders to the old because it looks more organized and stylish. I still nostalgia over the old borders here and there but I'm happy where they took it.
Well, they did hint that with the new legendary rule they're applying they will be able to print legendary lands again. I don't know about m14, seeing as it's a core set, but perhaps we will see some new legendary lands in theros?
I'm mostly into modern right now. I came back because unlike when I was younger, I now have alot of disposable income. Back then I just built decks from my friends collection (he had thousands).
I'm from Southwest Michigan, only about 40 min from Kzoo. I plan on playing standard and modern. Going for a boros deck standard (I have a thread for it) and I plan on buying a cookie cutter of that elemental combo deck, getting used to it and then seeing if I can modify it.
That deck looks pretty sweet. I'm going to sub in some pillar of flames. Should I use some Firemane Avengers, and is Aurelia even worth it? I do love that card, but I probably shouldn't run it in a quick boros eh?
I AGREE WITH THIS GUY!

I use Frontline Medic very often, I love that card.
