I wouldn't pay for MWS as it is. Half the features either don't work, don't work right, or are broken. Right now, I can't even get a deck that was made with MWS to load into an actual game or playtest. It's an insult that they still take money. It certainly isn't earned.
I guess I'll have to try the EasyInstall and do the beta version because my current one doesn't work anymore.
I created a new deck through MWS, only using MWS's deck building tools, and then when I try to play with the deck, I get the aforementioned error. Doesn't make a lick of sense seeing as MWS itself created the file.It just seems like MWS has more and more and more errors these days. What do I do to fix this?
Basically, for "Event Participation Promo" cards, it says you have to "Participate in at least one (1) Constructed, Sealed Deck, or Draft Tournament with a minimum of eight (8) players". Does this mean any tournament at all (even free tournaments) or only pay tournaments?
Why are you pushing this "EasyInstall" so hard when no one wants it?! I myself have added various data to the MWS I have installed, including custom cards I made for my personal circle of friends to play with. Your EasyInstall wipes out all of the custom cards and custom decks with no actually quick and easy way to preserve that information.
I doubt I'm alone when I say I want the old site back with the old links and the old ability to do our own damn updates!

Speaking of, where do we download the text spoiler from now? I looked at Jouney Into Nyx but there's no link anywhere like there used to be.

If you want to use your inventory to build a deck ... just load it (table top) ... and then build your deck normally (table below) ....

The card is in the MAIN Master Base, and the card was added to the inventory from it, but you can't put a card from your inventory directly into your deck. I don't know why.
No. .. there is no way to open three items at the same time. Why do you want to do this?

It's not possible to open the main database, the inventory, and a deck is the problem. Only two things can be open at a time. Is there a way to open a third?
Is there any ruling anywhere that actually says the Hydra doesn't count as an "opponent"? I can't find such a thing anywhere. Also, while drawing and discarding are impossible, Mind Grind milling seems like it's more than possible.
I wish they'd release the rules before Game Day so we know what kind of decks we can play against the Hydra.
What exactly are you trying to do? Why do you want to use an inventory instead of the database?

Also, I just had to reinstall MWS on the second computer here because the program crashed when I tried to copy a database over, but now it's saying I have to buy the program and it'll only work for 30 days. What gives? I never had to buy it before. I'm pretty confused now.

I put owned cards in an inventory file and would like to build a deck from it. Problem is, I get an error whenever trying to add a card that says: "Can't add card: Not found in MAIN Master Base. See FAQ for details."
The inventory was build from the Master Base, so I know the error is wrong. Is this just another terminal bug?
If so, will anyone ever make a program that can play Magic online that is like MWS and can be used with Magic Set Editor? It's annoying dealing with the program breaking down all the damn time.
Here is the complete (and, I believe, error-free) install file to add Theros to Magic Workstation. This was parsed using KageNoOni's excellent parser.
Here are the full install instructions:
First, press the "View/Edit Base Mode" button to make sure your library is in (Edit mode). Now click "Tools" -> "Analyze/Add/Remove Sets ...". Click the "Add New Edition" tab. For the Edition Name, type "Theros", and for the Edition Key, type "THS". Check the box for "Get data from text Spoiler". Click the open folder with the arrow by Path to Spoiler and navigate to where you saved the text file (included in this post). Click "Next Page". Under "Additional Information", select "Type II" for Tourney, and input 1 for Booster Rares, 3 for Booster Uncomm, 10 for Booster Commons, and 1 for Booster Lands. Click "Add Edition", and you should see a window loading the set information, which will then tell you how many cards in the set loaded correctly, and how many were skipped.
There you go, that should do it. Save and you're done!

Topic, basically. Just looking to see if anyone has packs with the full card images for these three since I can't find them anywhere and don't know how to pull them off myself. I use Magic Workstation.

Seriously. I can't even play a game on it. I don't like to be harsh, but this is a horrible program. Sure, it looks all nice and plays really well, but there's one huge problem.
IT DISCONNECTS ALL THE FREAKING TIME! I can't even finish one game when I'm gonna win. When I lose, sure, it stays connected, but every time it looks like I might be able to win, it disconnects me. The server, for lack of a better word, SUCKS.
