Hold on... Since the article doesn't mention it... could you use Mary's activated ability to effectively steal an opponent's Mary O'Kill (assuming they don't have the mana up to activate it in response to flip it back to hand) or killbot, because it doesn't specify which side of the battlefield the target needs to be on?
Well, I suspect that you wouldn't be able to make the switch in this case (since you would be unable to put opponent's card in your hand). If you'd make a switch with a card your opponent controls, but you own, I think you could do that -- but the creature you switch in would still be under opponent's control.
You should be able to put them in your hand in silver-bordered land, see Naughty//Nice
So this let's you grab any Un-set card since they are banned in constructed, short of un-block or something like that.
Also, grabbing Contract from Below is great. Since you ignore the ante, you just discard and draw 7.
Neither of these should work, I think. Un-set cards aren't banned, they just aren't legal to begin with, and both MaRo and Tabak have said you can't fetch Ante cards.
Dear god, I love Slaying Mantis so much. It has everything I could ever want.

Yeah, the card doesn't explicitly say you can't reorganize cards in your hand, but it implies it. I am going to reorganize cards in response to this, or just might concede basically in draft, as I don't want the game to control how i organize cards in my hand. This isn't fun.
What makes this really interesting is how this will affect the C17 set. Do they start building precon decks to be legal in both paper and online? Do they not bring C17 to MTGO?
I imagine it'll be the same as the other commander releases. Not available on MTGO with the new cards available a different way later.
Damn, I missed some of those horrible unbans. I'm downgrading even 1v1 to a D. Its a disaster for multiplayer. I am not looking forward to Prophet, Prime Time, and Emrakul AT ALL. And Upheaval, really? What idiot drew up this list?
Apparently, there's an Italian Leviathan team (commity 30HP) who were/are in contact with WotC....and they split from the French over I guess recent changes
Yeah, Duel Commander moved to 20hp (for reasons I can't be bothered to cover here) recently, and people didn't like that so a group splintered off to form Leviathan Commander, which started (and I think still is? Because it seemed dead last time I checked) as just an older Duel Commander banlist. According to that link, yeah, the rules committee for Leviathan says they talked to WotC, which is hilarious since they didn't even release a banlist update with Amonkhet releasing after saying in March they would follow the normal rotation.
try to make one list to encompass two very different formats?
Can't confirm, but I've heard it's because they want people to be able to use the same decks in 1v1 and multiplayer, and MTGO is incapable of allowing one deck into multiple formats right now.

Per Tabak, no Ante in non-ante games.
It's finally a real Un-set, boys!
Edit: This right here is what I wanted from a new un-set. Nice, cool, ridiculously flashy card for casual/draft use.
EditEdit: Can't wait to die to Phage the Untouchable when I crack a pack of Legions with this.

None of those are a problem in 1v1
