We just pushed out an update that should solve a couple issues:
    - The mobile nav should be much easier to scroll now.
    - Fonts should be back to their appropriate size.
    - The member details dropdown on mobile should no longer cover any post content.

Once again, thanks to everyone for being patient with us. We're still looking through feedback and working on bug fixes and feature improvements.

The text size change was unintentional, this will be fixed today in a deploy along with some other issues. Sorry about that!

    Hey everyone,

We pushed an update out this morning that mainly fixes some things that broke with the big update from last week:
    • Normal users can once again ignore other normal users.
    • Styling issue for PM folder names has been fixed.
    • Notification dropdown styling on /members has been fixed.
    • You can now see who liked a post.
    • Local mod posts in VOOT forums are hidden from normal members.
    • The back to top link has returned from its short vacation.

We're still in the process of tackling a few other issues, but please let us know if you find anything not already mentioned in this forum!

posted a message on Excessive Javascript: The reason everything's so slow
We're definitely looking at improving performance, especially on mobile devices. Additionally, I have a note to turn off the JS driven relative times. Thanks for the feedback and I'm sorry for the inconvenience!

Also: we are forced to use 25 posts per page. Bring back the other options, I really need this 50ppp.

Only thing that's irking me about the forum change is going down to 25ppp, from 60ppp. Irritates me a little when I'm a mod in a tournament, although I don't have to worry about that part for much longer.

This is set by the admins now on a forum by forum basis. They will be updating them over time from user feedback, so if you'd like a specific PPP on a certain forum, please let them know.

I don't understand this at all. PPP and Threads displayed per page are strictly user preference with no good reason to hard set as different people like different things, even within the same forum. I can't imagine that this would cause any problems on your end as the dozens of forums I have been a part of over the years have completely had this as a UserCP setting.

This may seem insignificant, but I am already getting really frustrated with seeing only 15 threads per page. This forum - as I am sure you are aware - can have hundreds of threads posted in, in a very short period of time. Trying to scroll and see what is out there is all but useless with 15 TPP and 200 Threads to scroll through.

I hear ya, and on a conceptual level I absolutely agree with you. Unfortunately, there is a good, technical, reason why do it this way. It allows us to cache the forum much more heavily, saving quite a bit of bandwidth in the process. This should be a temporary issue as the admins find a happy medium for TPP and PPP that they can apply to each forum.
