I was down to a Patron of the Moon player and a Zedruu the greathearted player as my opponents. I had to leave soon so I wanted to go out with a bang on my final turn for the day. The Patron player had a Caged Sun for blue, the Zedruu had two Stolen Identity copy of it for Red and Blue, and I forked that Stolen Identity when it was cast to get me a copy of Caged Sun for Black. Also on the field was a Conjured Currency being passed around, currently in possession of the Patron player.
At the beginning of my upkeep I cast Word of Seizing to nab Conjured Currency so I can take the red Caged Sun from Zedruu's player. My Runescar Demon couldn't really get damage through because both players had flying blockers so I decided to sac my demon to Altar's Reap to see what I'll draw.
I got Mind shatter and Zealous Conscripts. This was exactly what I needed to screw one of the other players out of the game completely. The Patron player rarely wins so I decided to make the Zedruu player discard his hand, take his copy of my Runescar Demon with Zealous Conscripts, and attack with both for a total of 11 damage. I had to go and the Patron player had an overwhelming advantage over Zedruu's player so I actually decided the entire match.
Thankfully we are all good friends so no hard feelings were had.
Obzedat's player had both Sanguine Bond and Exquisite Blood in play and was gonna Exsanguinate us all. Everyone's all "oh god" but then I calmly respond with SkullCrack. I never thought announcing that I would crack a kid's skull would get me high fives.
The ever growing numbers of fatties that are easy to cheat into play and cripple the game for their enemies like Iona, Shield of Emeria, Sylvan Primordial, Terastodon, the phyrexian praetors, and anything with annihilator.
Any Destroy/Sac/Bounce all lands card used for stupid reasons like "Well I was gonna lose anyway", "I only wanted to stop the ramp player who somehow recovered faster than us and won", and "I was hoping I'd recover first and take the advantage".
I am starting to wonder if it's really the countering part of a counterspell that makes them so hated as opposed to how most counterspells have these amazingly demeaning insults in their flavor text XD.

Kind of a little too better than the actual Dragon Hatchling but an interesting idea.
I had both Choke and Monsoon (As a back-up for Choke) in a Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund deck. In fact, I have an awful lot of blue hate considering how badly blue can screw Karrthus over. Though I kinda prefer Choke because I hate having to remind people that if they don't tap their islands they will take damage and the islands will still be tapped.
I only experienced this once when an opponent was deliberately conceding to deny me an Intet, the Dreamer trigger "for being a douche to him" (Sure I focused Intet's attacks on him but he's playing mono green and he's the only player on the table without a flyer so who else would I have her attack and dream off of? Besides he has no right to call me a douche when he blew up my Izzet Boilerworks with an Acidic Slime in early game for "Value"!) All I really did was jokingly chant "Rage Quit...You Rage Quit...Why you gotta Rage Quit?!".
Yeah it's kinda dumb to scoop in response to being attacked but I guess I have trouble with not being laid back about anything...
The Linvala player managed to ultimate with Ajani, Caller of the Pride at full life because he was able to construct a perfect defense while my burn spells/Chaos Warp have been eluding me. He had Ghostly Prison, Dawn Elemental, and Linvala herself with a Sword of Fire and Ice and a huge body courtesy of the Ajani. The only reason he didn't have more blockers is because I tried to limit the growth of his defense with my Defense of the Heart.
However the defense doesn't matter to him anymore because Ajani fulfilled his duties and now there are 40 cats that will kill both my friend and I on his next turn. Or so he thinks because I was getting ready for my Defense of the Heart to pop so I can get Thunder Dragon and undo that cat swarm. However before I could do that the Jarad player would have to take his turn and on that turn...Calming Verse JUST to blow up my Defense of the Heart.
He KNEW I could clear that field! He knew what was in my deck! He only targeted it with Bribery like a million times throughout our lives! I just dropped my head to the table and groaned "Thanks a goddamn lot for killing us" as I pulled Thunder Dragon out of my deck and the Jarad player was all "oh..."
Story 2
-------------
Amidst the chaos of a Vanguard tournament, a different friend and I were able to find a table to play some magic. I was preparing Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund while he was preparing a Sun Burst deck commanded by Cromat. Someone on a table next to us decided to join our game with his Tarland, Sky Summoner deck. Somehow, even though Tarland's player was having mana troubles he sure was annoying me with those counterspells. This prompted me to drop down a Monsoon after baiting a Cancel with a Gruul Charm to "take out his drakes".
That, combined with Steely Resolve shrouding my dragons gave me a nice and warm feeling of relief from the control player so I could focus on actually trying to deal with the cromat player that was building his field with little hindrance as the blue player was only able to counter my spells before running out of open mana to counter sun burst boy much. However, eventually, Cromat's player was able to cast a Soulscour with a number of mana rocks, artifact lands, an Arcbound Slith, and other useful little artifacts on his field. Tarland's player and I, however, have no artifacts on the field.
Tarland's Player: "Wait are you tapped out?"
Cromat's Player: "Yes"
Tarland's Player: "Okay I'm gonna respond to that with Daze."
Tarland's Player: "No wait a minute, if I let that resolve it will get rid of that Monsoon and Steely Resolve. I think I'll let it pass."
Me: And it will also get rid of all our other permanents while the artifact deck is going to keep a good number of his things.
Tarland's Player: "Wait this destroys lands too?!"
Both Cromat's player and I: "Yeah."
Tarland's Player: "Ok I am going to counter that."
Cromat's Player: "Alright I guess that means those enchantments that *insert my real name* is screwing you over with will stay.
Tarland's Player: "Oh, yeah. You know go ahead and restart the game. I want to see what happens."
Me: "It's not really restarting because he's going to have a field and we won't!"
Tarland's Player: "Whatever, it resolves."
So naturally, the Cromat player would go on to win this game before either of us could recover. I hate blue players so much. They think they're so smart by simply packing 25+ counterspells in their every deck...
I am an underdog type of player, so I can identity with perhaps Tibalt's greatest strength: The underestimation factor. Like, I've seen Tibalt build up quite a bit before because the other players have their attention on cards that aren't considered terrible.

Mana acceleration is always good, and in a format for bigger plays like EDH, mana acceleration is kind of a must.
because other tribes apparently do
Kind of a little too better than the actual Dragon Hatchling but an interesting idea.
Interesting what you are going for, though instant death touching +1/+1 transfering seems pretty crazy

There's no chance in heck for Red to get a Flying Men but I would just love to see it just to make Dragon Tribal do-able outside of EDH.
