I use it in my Intet, the Dreamer deck because dragons generally have similar power/toughness totals. They're like, 4/4s, 5/5s, or 6/6s so I am usually sure to get another dragon off Wild Pair.
Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer: I am pretty sure there's some convoluted infinite combo in there I haven't discovered yet. I'm playing with a lot of artifacts there has to be something I accidentally broke.
Phelddagrif: Eternal Witness and Evacuation. Go go gadget stall tactics so I can draw into cards that will scar horrifying memories of Phelddagrif being the master of destruction into all who witness.
I maindecked a number of blue hate in my old Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund deck because of how easy it was for blue to screw it over. Cards like Guttural Response and Pyroblast were unexpected and saved my skin a lot.
As of late I've been looking at blue hate again because Cyclonic Rift overloaded is turning into the bane of my existence.
Even the things that are frowned upon in casual are not that good at countering green. Unless stuff like MLD is used to assure a checkmate, the green player will recover faster than everyone else and drop down his big dummies without much hindrance because the guy who blew up all the lands has pretty much become the enemy.
Unless of course you're playing with bad ramp players that overextend themselves.
But yeah I find it silly when people bring up what they see as format problems and then try to fix them with horribly designed card ideas.
I'm not quite clear as to what you mean by the zero ability. That last ability is more blue than it is red.

Hibernating Larva
Creature - Insect (R)
Whenever an opponent plays a blue or black spell, put a cocoon counter on Hibernating Larva.
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may sacrifice Hibernating Larva. If you do, put a */* green Insect creature token with flying onto the battlefield with power and toughness each equal to the number of cocoon counters on Hibernating Larva.

Also, I want the token token to remember the number of counters on the larva when it was sacrificed. Does this wording work?
Maybe the correct wording would be "equal to the number of cocoon counters that was on Hibernating Larva" since the card with the counters was already sacrificed and therefore not on the battlefield.

Vendilion Clique
I find it easy to mistake them for regular useful effect creatures like Dark Confidant. It doesn't help that the card itself refers to them as a clique rather than the people that form the clique.
Though you do learn who they are from another Card
The art just looks more like they're going out on a date than they are dueling.
Like "Darnit Vraska you're petrifying people again. You're embarrasing me."
The only thing that shocks me is the lack of Eternal Witness. I know I already got a stack of them from modern masters drafts, but that would've been a perfect fit in the Evasive Maneuvers deck. Other than that, all of the decks look desirable to me.
Honestly I'm gonna let your "weirdness" slide because it's not one of those silly "omg its totally pay to win" reasons like magic wasn't always like that in the first place.
If anything I love command tower because at the time of the Commander decks release, it offered an inexpensive, free of drawbacks land that gives you any color you need.
Soraya the Falconer: Well...Mirror Entity and enough of any creatures will f' you up I guess.
Squee, Goblin Nabob: I can't say its degenerate but one combination that strikes frustration into the hearts of many is Omen Machine and Teferi's Puzzle Box especially if I also have Ensnaring Bridge out.
Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer: I am pretty sure there's some convoluted infinite combo in there I haven't discovered yet. I'm playing with a lot of artifacts there has to be something I accidentally broke.
Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund: The dreaded "Karrthus Kombo" consists of Blades of Velis Veil and Karrthus himself. Often decides games, especially if Sarkhan the Mad is there too.
Boris Devilboon: Mephidross Vampire/Triskelion. I am not sure how my playgroup would feel about MikeTrike though so it's not in yet.
Phelddagrif: Eternal Witness and Evacuation. Go go gadget stall tactics so I can draw into cards that will scar horrifying memories of Phelddagrif being the master of destruction into all who witness.
Rorix Bladewing: No really devastating combos so far...

Mirrorweave in Intet, the Dreamer. (I quiver in delight at the thought of targeting my Utvara Hellkite as I attack...)
Dovescape and Spiteful Visions would go into that Maelstrom Wanderer global effects deck I'm building.
