Have you not noticed all the R/W Burn decks that have been top 8ing and winning a few opens?
I'm not saying I think red's not doing good enough. If anything I implied I do think red is doing well enough in constructed. There's no denying that a lot of people want more of red though.
I struggle see any white in the khans picture or Sarkhan and I definitely don't see black in the khans picture. I just see red and people that would work well with Lovisa Coldeyes. I don't know how you people see Dega from this aside from wishful thinking.
If anything had to do with colors, I would think it's more likely that they would try a color focused expansion within that block like with Torment. Maybe the rise in red in constructed play that people have been asking for even though Chandra, Pyromaster has been trying so hard to make standard player senpai notice her. That's not all that likely but I can see it better than I can wedges.
Noble Hierarch and Mutavault because their obscene prices get in the way of me building my dream Phelddagrif tribal deck.
I think that's band but I guess it would be worse if I was a more serious player dreaming of decks that involve the original duals and force of will and stuff.
I have stolen so many games with that card. The one I remember most fondly was where a Nekusar, the Mindrazer player was trying to make me draw 25 with Stroke of Genius and I'm like "No you draw 50" and decked him out. It's fond mostly because I did it to a typical Nekusar player. Wild Ricochet will always have a close place to my heart.
She's really nice when you have something like Vedalken orrery or Leyline of Anticipation out. I just love responding to removal/theft by gaining life and drawing cards.
Swords to Plowshares, Misdirection, Stifle, Exploration, Edric, Mirari's Wake, Pernicious Deed, Altar of Dementia, and Reflecting Pool are not good enough reprints where's my triple digit dollar cards that no ordinary person would expect in a mass produced product.
In all seriousness though my only disappointment with this set is red and black's share of the cards being relatively mediocre.
Make sure you play this with a plan. You won't like those awkward situations where someone else utterly dominates the game all because you just wanted to stick it to defensive decks for the hell of it. Personally, I'm the kind of guy that plays around responsive decks.
As good as it is remember that it's a very easy spell to fizzle. I dunno, counterspelling someone's attempt to Swords to Plowshares their own attacking creature in an attempt to ensure that I can't spam Capsize was a sorta surreal experience to me.
Chaos Warp
Radiate
Mind's Desire
Scrambleverse
Cultural Exchange
Djinn of Infinite Deceits
Dual Nature
Bad competitive attitudes turn me off.

I hope his associated flavor texts in this block will also sound like he's trying to write lyrics for the Melvins.
