Many of the life gain cards are "win more" cards that don't actually do much for you. The Wall.
Add more draw cards like Phyrexian Arena, Necropotence or maybe even Bloodgift Demon in their place. If you really want more life gain Paradox Haze is great and interacts with some of the best card draw engines mentioned above.
The wall I really like, does stupid things with sanguine and Cradle of Vitality
Serra Ascendant is a must. I'm also a huge fan of Phyrexian Processor here. An amazing life sink as long as you don't get to greedy and make it a target.
I have played Hanna Pillowfort and found it powerful and boring. Everyone else gets to play MtG whilst i was playing lego, assembling the pieces to break the table.
I understand that Esper is the poster child of control in Commander, however that really is not the way i want to go with this deck. I really want to accelerate via card draw into a midrange aggressive board state, because Oloro attracts hate.
There are THREE things this deck wants to do

* Sling (and resling) powerful creatures and other permanents

Utility (10 Total) 1x Nihil Spellbomb (at a minimum, it cycles, interacts well with Tempt with Immortality) 1x Blind Obidence (LIFEGAIN, Its power varies, but its better than most think, and the extort can interact with a few things in the deck) 2x Swiftfoot boots (aids in the smashing of things) 3x Crawlspace (works well with Bident of Thassa and is a defensive all-star) 3x Curse of the Forsaken (LIFEGAIN, I want to cut it, but wits very powerful against the people i play with) 3x Path of Bravery (LIFEGAIN, Gets bonkers with Cradle of Vitality) 3x Dromar's Charm (Good all-rounder) 4x Cradle of Vitality (Helps with the smashing) 5x Sanguine Bond (want to cut it but but when it goes off, it goes off!) 7x Akroma's Memorial (Nothing says smash like this thing!)
Reading through decklists, a lot of people are quick to point out there infinite combos or printed win conditions. Are there any good decks out there that simply win by brute force. Ie creatures dealing damage in combat
After playing Kaalia, which just was a queue for everyone to attack me, I'm looking to build a slow burner that encourages people to attack someone else... So I've put this list together and am chasing opinions before i put my money down (for the record I will be building this as a paper deck so such things as fetch lands are beyond reasonable price). I like games where i don't just construct an instant win combo, but rather navigate a superior position to fight for the win.
Anthonii, why do you want to avoid GY hate? It's a much more effective option, it's something most decks should be running anyway

I wish to avoid the deck that does nothing but stops my mate from playing. We are not playing for prizes, if i run a heap of GYH sure ill win efficiently for a while, then i wont be playing at all. Id rather shoot for that whacky one off MCL.
Planar guide looks like a great option especially if i get the return exiled card creature i forgotten the name out there with it.
The theory behind it is to more imaginatively tackle my mates grimgrin & gravecrawler deck. I want to try and skip graveyard hate. And the fact that if it works it becomes useful against any creature deck.
Whilst appreciate that land destruction is a much safer, direct option, i am curious if anyone has a way to abuse overburden? Ie gift Non Token creatures to another player in mass?

What I'm looking to do is build this deck to get big value out of Legion's Initiative which just seems too cool. Realistically this deck is based on a shell of another deck posted on this site by Bismuth Von Pherson, which you can find here.
At the moment I think this deck can be a bit slow. A lot of Wins at the moment are coming from Tutoring up the relevant Sword of x protection and smashing face with whatever creature is on board(Boros Keyrune can do some work!).
Things that I want to achieve with this deck:

I'm using mtgo in VMware fusion and have been happily for a while, however I cn not work out how to get 'Ctrl+click' to work. Not being able to hold priority limits the thingsthatare achievable in the game. Anyone found a solution?
