    (sealed)

    Tough tough....

I know the chances are sooo slim to get away with one color. With that in mind, I had to consider synergy with white and some other color. I really like the POTENTIAL options with white-blue, white-black, or (stretch) white-blue-black.

I see great backup options with a white lead-in. Either blue or black has great realistic potential. Not sure the "synergy" random sealed chemistry is as strong with any one other "lead" color (for two other supporting colors).

Of course, you could "go for broke" with one color and trust/hope your second color works out on the sealed. So, high risk/reward or lower risk and strong reward?

Well, I've also done some searching and come up with the following: http://drafts.in/ Smile

Now, this ties into Cockatrice. That being said, YOU have some work to do, but while I haven't attempted as yet, it does look relatively straight forward. Frown

    Follow some directions :o: http://anothermagicblog.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/dragons-maze-on-cockatrice.html

===> As I have not tried this yet and having looked at a few comments, there appear to be a few bugs on the decks that are being "worked out".
PLEASE NOTE, I am a layman on this soooooo take it with a grain of salt. HOWEVER, if someone "in the know" has tried this can you give supporting feedback (good/bad..operational/broken)?

Oh, if you don't already have Cockatrice loaded you can supposedly still find it (I was lucky and had it loaded before it became challenging to find). Once you have it loaded, that's when the directions look relatively straight forward....

A spell that is no longer on the stack cannot resolve. This enchantment will "counter" any spell you try to cast by putting it on the bottom of your deck. Likewise, all cards between it and the spell you do cast will be put on the bottom without effect.

There are not many creatures with effects when they are cast (Such as Emrakul or Bloodbraid Elf), but in those cases yes their abilities will still trigger, because they were still cast.

Smile Thx, so just the last card type matched (creature in my example) will be cast as a "copy" of the exiled matching card...hence IT resolves? E.g., cast Council which becomes exiled..no effect and the NEXT card pulled happens to be a gatekeeper, that also becomes exiled but the card/spell (or copy thereof) is cast (does it hit the battlefield THEN become exiled)?

I do apologize for the clarification, but the text on this is confusing me. Since it said to exile (up to and including) the next card type that matches. And if a card is exiled (which the text states first), you can't cast it....right? Or if cast, does it make it to the battlefield before becoming exiled?

There seem to be quite a respectable number of cards with effects that will be reproduced in DGM alone (spoilers so far). E.g., all the common Gatekeepers , Council of Abs, Deputy, Lavinia, Sin Collector, Trostani.

    Please clarify for me:

    1) Once the spell is cast, it gets exiled...Does it resolve?
    2) "...until he/she exiles card that shares type...". So, don't all cards (first, all in between and the one that matches) get exiled? In other words, if you cast a creature, then it and the next creature become exiled...
    3) There are a number of creatures that have effects when cast...will their effects hit THEN they get exiled?

My point on 3) above is that this could be ugly...really, really ugly...unless 1) above is not the case....

does taking 5 turns really sound fun to people? I always feel like more than one extra turn is redundant and kinda boring. five would just be like, ok, the game was over three of my turns ago, but lets untap again anyway just for giggles.

seriously. it sounds boring to me. Reads cool I guess though

Since the odds of five turns is only 3%, I don't think anyone will get bored it.

Actually, the odds are as follows:
    0 Turns: 3%
    1 Turn: 16%
    2 Turns: 31%
    3 Turns: 31%
    4 Turns: 16%
    5 Turns: 3%

Alternatively, it is a 50/50 proposition to have 0, 1 or 2 turns (3, 4 or 5 turns). Playing him costs one turn and he's basically sitting tight for three additional turns. The payout is not certain...seems reasonable.
