Well, madness in EDH seems weak to me. I like Squee, a lot, but not sure he fits the bill in my hazezon deck. The reason Stormbind could be good, is that i ramp like crazy to get value out of hazezon, so at times i do have a lot of mana floating in my hand. The deck runs low count of instanst and sorceries (except for ramping ones), so the random discard isn't that bad because mostly i just put the cards on the board.
Had this card in my binder like forever, until yesterday when i put it in my hazezon deck. It worked pretty well, the discard seems hard but it actually wasn't that bad. Anyone tested this little piece of tech?
I run a deck with a smiliar strategy, using Erebos as commander. I don't run creatures at all, so I can sweep all day long without any downside. It's really grindy and people do get annoyed some times, when running Bottomless Pit, Necrogen Mists and Oppression (+ verious discardspells). The plan is to control the board while setting up black enchantments/artifacts that help me keep control. I have some suggestions for you to look at. Bottled Cloister, really good with enchantments that causes you to discard at upkeep. Just put the dicard tigger last, and you dogded you own effect. Crucible of Worlds, (might be out of your budget, but it's seriously good!) discard land for profit. Null Brooch gets even better paired with Bottled Cloister but is good on its own. Can deal with troublesome cards, black have a hard time dealing with. Leyline of the Void can be really good too, and only hit your opponents. Also Pox which is why I actually made the deck in the first place
Hallo d0su and other Squee players. I found this thread since i wanted to do a Squee deck myself, and your s looks like alot of fun. Had some of the same ideas ad you, but yours are more consistent it what it wants to do. I have one questing though: Why play Loxodon Warhammer? Clearly to outlive your own inferno, but why not play the less mana intensive Basilisk Collar? Can't wait to put my Squee deck together but i do need a fair amout of cards still...
EDIT: Also, I can see that Death Spark isn't in your decklist anymore. How come? Didn't it preform as excepted? Looks solid to me with Squee and all that discard.
played with you on cockatrice some while ago, with my Hazezon deck. I see you don't rely much on your sand warriors, but i would say Skullclamp belongs in a deck that can generate as many tokens as hazezon. Also Goblin Bombardment and Vicious Shadows do some heavy *****, with tokens.
Thanks for the suggestions. I actually just put a deck together with almost all those cards (Swirling Sandstorm might be added as a backup). The deck is mostly mono-blue control with a spalsh of red. Kinda like my Niv-Mizzet deck

Thanks Reaper, after the post and trying the mono-blue Timmy-deck on 'trice, someone actually recommended Gelectrode which i'm definitely going to try out. Hope red contribute with something good! Some removal for sure. One thing i had trouble with, were creatures with shroud or hexproof - any suggestions how to deal with that?
So I've played a bit with Sage of Fables and the wizard-tribe just seems too underwelming. The drawpower of Sage is simply too vanurable when you have to back her up with only wizards. But wizards are cool, espacially the Timmies! A Timmy with Freed from the Real quickly became devastating! So now I'm gonna try to see what happens when my commander is a Timmy himself, Suq'Ata Firewalker...

Also the most expensive, which might be why he's underplayed

Wording says each player. Since Planeswalkers are semi-player will rats target them aswell?
