Ruleswise yes. Flavorwise, no.
First off red-black? I get the "red" but black? Any of the other colors would be better, including red. Green is harmony, blue is thought, white is law and institution, red chaos and randomness, black is...death and disruption.
I'm going to be blunt here: Red-Black is the worst of all evils, see Rakdos. The fact that you are making Karl Marx be that evil is ignorant and insulting
You misunderstand red black. Yes, it does tend towards evil, but that's because it's a highly individualistic pair. That being said, I would agree that Karl Marx likely isn't red black.
On topic, most cards like this trigger on an upkeep (or rarely, an end step, provided there's enough hoops), just so that you can't "Oops, I win"
As for what I'd do differently with my cards, (fixing errors aside), I'd definitely replace then indestructible on my Sable for something else. I considered spelling out the 'incurable' mechanic that was scrapped from Eldritch Moon, but figured that might be too weird.
I have a poor memory for design articles sometimes. What was this mechanic?
"This creature can't be returned to your hand or exiled." I believe they also mentioned an iteration that included "can't be put into your library"
So I'm honestly surprised I won this. I had a rather glaring error on my mole, and quite frankly, I found IcariiFA's cards to be just as interesting, if not better (looking at the Sable in particular)
Portcullis Regent: I like that it can block anything. A bit expensive for that aspect to be the draw, but it's overall a solid uncommon.
Drogdal, From Below: I was amused that we arrived at the same conclusion of what an obvious mole ability would be for the first ability. The second ability is pretty interesting. Certainly something to build around.
Mythatog: Can go from nobody to nightmare shockingly fast. Seems reasonably easy to make the most of too.
Shimmering Sable: This seems extremely irritating to deal with. Then again, so is Darksteel Myr. Might be some weird combos you could do with this.
Rekogoyf: This is what I'd expect of a legendary lhurgoyf. This could just count the number of cards in all graveyards, rather than specifically permanent cards.

Best of luck Ink-Treader! I believe you and I encountered a similar problem; we both have a similar design process and stepped on each others toes a bit. I know I had to revise some of my entries just to make sure there were clear differences. But that just means I agree with a lot of your decisions.
Indeed. I could tell we both did some research on Lammasu and hit the same general idea.
It is an honor to be IcariiFA's opponent once more. I aim to do much better than last time.
Guardians of Makal2WW
Creature - Lammasu (U)
Flash
Flying
When Guardians of Makal enters the battlefield, prevent all damage that would be dealt to creatures you control other than Guardians of Makal until end of turn. "Walls of stone are indispensible, but I do enjoy more... active defenses."
-Sekkarin, king of Makal
3/3
Lichesk, the Unsullied1GW
Legendary Creature - Sable (M)
Hexproof, indestructible, protection from creatures A coat fit for a king. An owner the king's army couldn't catch.

Subterranean Pathbreaker1RR
Creature - Mole (U)
Subterranean Pathbreaker can't be blocked by creatures without flying.
Whenever Subterranean Pathbreaker attacks, other creatures you control with power less than or equal to Subterranean Pathbreaker's power can't be blocked by creatures without flying until end of turn.
2/2
Sparkatog1BR
Creature - Atog (R)
Remove a loyalty counter from a planeswalker you control: Sparkatog gets +1/+1 until end of turn.
Sacrifice a planeswalker: Sparkatog gets +X/+X until end of turn, where X is twice the number of loyalty counters on the sacrificed planeswalker. The most elusive quarry's almost perfect predator.
1/2
Eschivore2WW
Creature - Lhurgoyf (R)
Eschivore's power and toughness is equal to the number of Aura and Equipment cards in all graveyards. 1W: Return target Equipment or Aura card in a graveyard to the battlefield attached to Ensivore. Exile that Aura or Equipment at the beginning of the next end step.
*/*
Heh, wish I were quicker on posting my mole. Still subject to change!
Tillhauler3G
Creature - Ox (U)
When Tillhauler attacks, you may reveal the top 2 cards of your library. Put any land cards revealed this way onto the battlefield tapped. Put the other cards into your graveyard.
2/4
Potentially a lot of ramp, though it does come down somewhat late.
Reckless Goat1RW
Creature - Goat (R)
At the beginning of your upkeep, choose a creature you control. That creature must attack this turn if able.
When that creature attacks on the turn it was chosen, you may tap up to one untapped goat you control. If you do, that creature gains power and toughness equal to the power and toughness of the tapped goat until end of turn.
4/1 A war-trained goat pulls its master's chariot forward into any danger without fear.
This could be worded better I think. On its own, it essentially has "T: Another target creature gets +4/+1 until end of turn. Activate this ability only any time you could cast a sorcery." Which is pretty strong, even if the target is telegraphed.
Noble Markhor1WW
Creature - Goat (R)
Lifelink
Sacrifice Noble Markhor: Choose a color. Until end of turn, your devotion to that color becomes 7. (Your permanents do not affect your devotion to the chosen color this turn.) Offering the rarest and most distinguished of beasts gains undeniable favor.
3/3
Nifty. I don't know how much silliness could come of this, but I have some ideas.
Fertile SheepW
Creature - Sheep (Uncommon)
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a wool counter on Fertile Sheep .
Remove three wool counters from Fertile Sheep: Create a colorless Equipment artifact token named Wool Armor. It has "Equipped creature gets +0/+3" and equip 1.
0/3
Cute idea, but I fear it might be too slow to be terribly practical.
Hardy Dromedary
Creature — Camel (R)
Vigilance
Deserts you control have " : Add one mana of any color to your mana pool." Not many animals are able to survive in the harsh environment of the desert, but there are some that are able to extract what they need from the land.
1/3
Blessed Provider1WW
Creature - Ox (R)
Whenever a creature deals damage to Blessed Provider, each other creature you control deals damage equal to its power to that creature. Those who dare to force one of Atisava's children aside soon learn of her follower's zeal.

Depends, If they had an even number of cards, yes. If they had an odd number, one would remain. Not that's it's hard to mill that last card.
I believe it's Emperor's Champion
And yeah, ReReturn to Ravnica definitely has to be coming soon. After Ixalan perhaps
