Just wondering, is anyone here going to BNG-prerelease?

And on unrelated note, today I, for the first time ever, visited Burger King. It was... okay.

I'm pretty sure I'll be going to BNG prerelease, but with how the set has turned out so far, I'm not so sure... I might skip over it if we don't get more playable stuff for EDH/standard.

    New change today:

    +Barter in Blood
    -Hua Tuo, Honored Physician

Let me know if you have any questions about this cut. I mostly needed Barter in Blood to help fight an Uril deck in my meta that's been hard to deal with.

Yeah, I second KnightGeist Ghostlight for the Elder Dragon. He could still keep being our scroll keeper, since that post has nothing special it has to do, compared to others:

Staxie: Doing new clan threads, updating front page and so.
    Madhatter: Secret Santa
Bur: Everything no one else does/Kicking butts to make stuff happen.
    Xbinox: ...?
    You(?): Scroll keeper.

May I remind you I am also the founder of this clan, and we would not be here today without my sudden, crazy urge to try managing something! Grin

But according to what everyone is saying, I feel like Ghostlights (should be Knightlights XD) should be the new Elder Dragon! Congratulations on your promotion!

I'm looking forward to seeing how Mogis turns out, being a fan of both his colours and the fact that he's a Minotaur.

    Thanks.

I figure I should throw my hat in for the open position. My current one can just be folded into it, or someone else can take over as the keeper of scrolls.

This seems like a fairly solid idea. I'll give some other members a chance to respond and we can vote on who would be best to fill the position, we have quite a few qualified people for the job.

The changes they've made are necessary, in the face of all the counterfeiting that's been done. And Waste Nots flavor text will hopefully change. If not, just think of it as WOTC's attempt at being meta. Shrugs

Also: New name for this guy! Grin

It's about time, especially considering that one of our Elder Dragons has been a virtual no-show for a while now. The Norin section could use some cleaning out, too.

Interesting new name, I like it.

As for updates, I do think we need a new elder dragon, he's been rather inactive most of the time. Expect this position to be open fairly soon, if anyone's interested post here in the clan or PM me.

I'll also clean out some of our Norins, they're getting full.

New spoilers, especially the blue PR-promo, look quite nice.

Also, a message from CC to us: "Update your roster to be up-to-date. You have time till Monday." (aka. check that it isn't filled with outdated info)

What do we need to update exactly? I can fix it, whatever it is

EDIT: Read the post, I understand what they mean. I'll make sure to update our stuff in the clan HQ.

EDIT2: Updated clan HQ with our current info

Its been awhile since I've updated this deck, but that's only because there hasn't been anything to update. But I do have two changes now:

    +Necropotence, +Ogre Batlledriver

    -Harmonize, -Sepulchral Primordial

Necropotence is a really nice draw source if you're digging for combo or more answers, and adds alot to your devotion to black in case you have Erebos, God of the Dead. Ogre Battledriver is currently being tested to see how well it will do.

What do you think about these choices?

Updated my sig with my commanders, plus Clan tagged myself. The real version is larger, and taller too.. also will be adding text to the boxes near the bottom to name the Generals ..and mark Chainer as "Building" and Zedruu & Norin as based off Primer's (until I feel I've adapted them to my own style more)..

But.. all that won't fit on the forum version so.. this is what I will have.. Weird

Sig looks great Icy. Would you possibly be interested in creating a new banner for the clan? Our old one is getting rather stale.

Hey guys, I finally received my free playmat yesterday from The Planeswalker Pantheon on facebook, and it looks great! And with further excitement, I was also accepted as an admin for their page concerning all EDH related stuff! Though my work will be split between managing the clan here and managing that page, I can handle it and won't be leaving you guys anytime soon. If you haven't checked their page out yet, you probably should. They have a great contest every month and lots of great magic related discussions and pictures. I will be Garruk for their page.

I would like to thank Bur and Madhatter for the successful Secret Santa clan activity! It seems to have gone over very well, and we will hopefully be able to do similar activities in the future. Sadly, I missed participating this time, but I'll definitely be in on whatever card trading activities we have in the future, along with other contests.

    Great work guys!

Hey everyone! What kind of magic stuff (if any) did you get for christmas?

I received one pack of Gatecrash, and that was it (the rare was Consuming Aberration, bleh). However, with the money I recieved (nearly $100) I'm going to buy some purple dragon shields for my Roon of the Hidden Realm EDH, a necropotence for Prossh, and a few cards to give as gifts to my playgroup. I'll also buy my way into the BNG prerelease (because I like doing that too).

Sorry I've been gone lately, been too busy and no access to a computer. I may not have internet access again for another week or so though, so I may not be able to change the thread title at 1,000 posts. My suggestion is that we just go on to 2,000 as most people have requested.

Also, really liking the our CC entry! It's flavorful and looks great!

Has anyone ever thought about building a casual deck where the only real goal is to cast Twiddle to tap your Boneflute or Rod of Ruin? And then cast Burst of Energy to untap it? I feel like this would make someone lol so hard if they played against it Grin

EDIT: Time to go troll some people on cockatrice... trololololol

Hmmm... not sure if we should change it or not now... It is pretty soon, but sometimes change is good. I was thinking we could do something holiday themed, but if you guys don't want to change it then we can continue with this thread.
