bading, jesseh was able to 3-1 with the borygymos build, maybe there is still some life in this deck?

you dont lose CA unless you hit your own enchanments...you might lose tempo, but not CA.

I know tempest of light isnt a super common thing anymore, but when that does come up why do i never see patrician's scorn? I searched this thread of 200+ posts and haven't seen a mention of it. I figured the death and taxes discussion would be a good spot to ask this since you would be the most likely to use it.

harmonize costs far too much and beleren is unlikely doable at double U. You dont need to eat your own lands with it...

it also really help dig deep which is generally important for this deck

you actually have tempo elements, a late game card draw engine doesnt seem as necesary for you as it would be for builds running black. I definitely see it possibly not working out but i dont think i can dismiss it just because it doesnt fit the RUG build.

i really like leyline for my graveyard hate.

also i have been running into problems with the non bloodghast version in closing out games. They certainly arent great but if i continue to have problems with deck like uwr i may consider putting them back in.

EDIT:blue bersions running desperate raving(my build) may want to consider trade routes That card is unreal albiet a bit slow

Between liliana small pox and looting blood ghast provides a prime target for disard that is practically gaurunteed to be recurred. If it even gets in for 2-4 that's another shock or 2 you don't have to think about and it's a card you don't have to think twice about discarding.

i know it synergizes with the deck Slant

what im saying is that it is contrary to what the deck needs to be doing. On turn 3 you want to be very close to setting up the lock, not swinging with some 2/1 .

The deck might be a bit slow closing out games but once you have 6 cards in hand and they have zero closing out the game is elementary.

EDIT: i am sad to see the borbygmos deck fail, i will be trying to breathe life into it once i get the assault version to my liking. I just learned that vs a competent opponent UWR midrange is a tough match(if they time their geists appropriately you often just die). You can certainly win but it is a tad tough

rafab, he was on his laptop waiting for his sleep in special deck reg to start, i just wanted the list to check(and to thank him for what he did for the archetype at san diego). I didnt really get a chance to get any more opinions. I also would have n idea what to ask, i mean he did a deck tech already.

his list from this event was actually jabberwocki's entire 75 from a daily that owen turtenwald featured at the end of his article about loam.

i asked gaudenis if i could see his list at gp pittsburgh and he pulled it up on his laptop for me :). i noticed the list matched the one i described perfectly.

This is true. WoTC only shows the results of the largest of all the daily events for each format for that day. Usually 2-3 events fire per day, per format. But you will never see the results of more than 1, per format.

is it actually to reduce speculation or is it just to save space?

Didn't they hide some of the results lately not to reveal too much of the meta? Because they thought that people speculating too much was bad for the game. I think I read that somewhere.

I have not heard or seen anything to corroborate this

Hardcasting borby has come up? 0_o i have never got that many lands out with loam...

Also I have no basis for comparison for horizon canopy number, my gut says three but it is just a gut feeling.

Anyways, what is your username on modo? I wanna look out for your results if you money

EDIT: Also a super experiemental idea for a white build would be a glittering wish package. almost certainly too cute but that card is definitely powerful.
