While I admit it doesn't come up as often now that boom//bust has been cut, 3drinks is right. It's still better than a normal plans because it can still fetch up any other plains with a land wrath in a deck with mana straints.
I will also say that I actually hated when I would get m flagstones legend ruled away befpre a land wrath. If that happened amd I knew I was either about to play the wrath or was resolving one I would grab a basic instead.
However, since we're getting new duels in Theros, I will keep an eye on it.
With the new legendary rule in effect, would you still want to run flagstones? I know that it'll back you up if you armageddon, but how often do you pull up the land destruction and find the right time to use it? I'm considering replacing it with tectonic edge
so what does your current list look like now? are you still running cloudshift? I've pulled mine out, which I kinda regret doing now. I won 3 games last night, 2 without Kaalia because she got picked off, but I still managed to hard cast creatures to beat face. one minor problem I had was that even if I did have cloudshift, sword of war and peace wouldn't have let me cloudshift kaalia from a putrefy
You'd be surprised. I've had people question my use of O-Charm over GftT, or why am starting to reconsider Orim's Thunder heh. Or the big one; when so many people try to question my lack of Angel of Serenity.
Yes, I've addressed these cards. But people still try to insist that they're right and I'm wrong.
It's all based on preference, really. In EDH, we all have our own personal statements and they work. I don't get how there's a "wrong" card. If we all played "right", we'd all have the same deck! Boooooring
it was actually a pretty funny match. I casted stranglehold, which caused Uril to cast bloodmoon. everyone was locked down because non-basics were mountains and nobody could tutor for enchantment removal
bloodmoon is a pretty damn scary enchantment. I just might consider throwing in wear and tear
so my buddies and I had an edh session last night. my friend decided to touch up on my Uril deck(I nearly took it apart because I've taken an interest in Zedruu), adding a few cards. all I have to say is that
Rather than a one-shot like Crypt, why not just Leyline of the Void instead?
And yes, Sire of Insanity should always be played in Kaalia. There's really no good excuse otherwise.
Leyline is a good idea, but I'd say it paints a bigger target on itself. Whereas a little jank 1 cmc artifact just sits there and I can leave it to my opponents to debate whether to waste a spell on it or not
IF THE MAN(ONE OF THE PRIME KAALIA RUNNERS) SUGGESTS SIRE OF INSANITY INTO A KAALIA DECK, then I guess I'll consider it D: brb pondering what to take out for the next 3 hours ;_; on a side note, leyline would be good synergy with the sire of insanity... hmmmmmmmm
I'm really considering taking out sunforger x: I've played 5 games recently, 3 of which I have won and I haven't seen sunforger anywhere!
How do you think Sygg, River Cutthroat would do in this deck?
eh? new duals?

BLOOD MOON *****ING SUCKS
