Not sure how i'd go about adding enough support to actually get colorless costs paid. Only green and red feel lacking in a payoff card for me currently.
I feel like I'd rather have the Signet for everything but Simic. However I think the signet is completely acceptable there as well and I just don't like the green signets as much due to the color having it's own ramp.
I find that incredibly hard to gauge personally. It feels like Pain Seer is slightly better but has more variance than Silumgar assassin because sometimes Pain Seer is just a piker while Silumgar Assassin at least has some evasion.
Surprised that nobody made a topic for this guy yet. I'm kind of intrigued by this but I'm not sure if I want a flying multicolor swiftspear but it seems fairly priced for that you get and it can block aggressive 2/1's. I definitely think it merits more discussion than Jori-En, Ruin Dilver though.
I somehow missed the vigilance the first time I saw this guy. I have no clue what I'd even want to cut for this guy it's either Vinelasher Kudzu, Vines of Vastwood, Mutagenic Growth or Collected Company and all of those feel like cards i'd want with this guy.
Far // Away or Dimir Charm I'm going to be cutting artifact support and want a non 4 drop for my dimir section otherwise i'd just use Duskmantle Seer. I'd also be open to hearing other options.
So how has this card been for other people? I've not seen him played a ton since I added him and am debating if I should cut him for something else which I haven't exactly decided on just yet.
Master of the Wild Hunt
Oracle of Mul Daya
Polukranos, World Eater
Surrak, the Hunt Caller
Thrun, the Last Troll
Wickerbough Elder
I've not really been dissapointed with Surrak since I added him and am not really a fan of Woodland Wanderer because it's not really a mono colored card. I don't doubt that it would probably play out just fine for me but I'd not really feel happy wherever I'd end up classifying it.
A bigger Pawn of Ulamog with better tokens and less color intensive and doesn't make the token if it dies. Probably won't be expensive at all but I like it enough if I decide to put my Xiahou Dun EDH back together.
So I am beginning to wonder if I should even support the artifact deck in my cube. I have a 540 card unpowered cube and it doesn't feel like the deck ever comes together aside from someone just playing tinker and some other large artifact as opposed to actually using Daretti or either Tezz. Does anyone else have experience with the archetype at that size?
I only use one proxy in my cube and it's a white bordered second copy of Armageddon because I just haven't been able to save up the cash to buy a Ravages of War. I have used proxies in the past though.
So I was posting in another topic and I linked this as a resource and I noticed Surrak, the Hunt Caller and Phantom Centaur weren't on the list and if you wanted to go a bit deeper Deadbridge Goliath could also be included. While I realize these 3 aren't super popular includes they are all very serviceable while on a budget for a new cube.
2: Celestial Collonade
3: Raging Ravine
4: Stirring Wildwood
5: Shambling Vent
6: Lumbering Falls
7: Wandering Fumarole
8: Needle Spires
9: Hissing Quagmire
10: Lavaclaw Reaches
Not as sure about the newest 3 but I am certain I like all of them better than Lavaclaw Reaches.
Choose 2
Phyrexian Arena or Ob Nixilis Reignited or Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet
