-Mana Severance line sounds absolutely awful.
-Cheerios/Egg lines already has several ways of closing the game immediately such as Aetherflux Reservoir.
-Urza with 15 artifacts and a Paradox Engine is likely already casting his whole deck, so Mirrodin Besieged seems like the lesser of the tables problems.
-Last line still requires you to somehow have 15 artifacts in the grave + 4 other cards in play, doesn’t seem like a huge problem.
Any method that MB has for actually winning, not just removing one person, can probably be pulled off easier and more efficiently with other cards. The only negative aspect I am seeing to MB is the removing one player from the game and that person having to wait a while to rejoin, however plenty of other acceptable strategies (such as aggro and voltron) can already do this.
You make infinite mana, activate his ability X amount of times where X is your deck size, and just flip it to exile all at once, then you show what your wincon is. There’s no real benefit to flipping each card individually once you're going to win.
Karn, the Great Creator – oof, this card is a beating against this deck. With the new changes to the Sideboard rules (rule #13 specifically), this card loses a lot of its attraction since it can no longer tutor for Mycosynth Lattice out of the wishboard. It’s still a decent hate-card depending on your meta, but is otherwise not quite good enough in the deck methinks. Mana Dorks are the name of the current cEDH meta-game currently, so Karn isn’t as effective as he could be.
Well, on the brightside, it's not like he could do that prior to rule 13 either.
Btw have you considered the Consult pile instead of MikeBall?
FlashHulk into Spellseeker x Labman, Spellseeker into Consult/Tainted, and then draw to win.
It’s still an instant speed win, allows you to run additional tutor in the form of Demonic Consultation and Tainted Pact, frees up cards since if any piece is in the wrong place you can just EWitt it back to your hand, and it slims down your deck quite a bit which makes Bob even better.
Edit: its also easier to pull off manually than assembling mike x ballista x seet
It's basically what Ava stated 2 pages back. We'd just continue to ignore the 'outside the game' portion while give them some actual usability as alternatives to pull from eternity and riftsweeper. However those two cards barely see play as it is, so I do not see what the point of doing a blanket errata would fix.
it actually captures the original intent/use of the wishes, and harkens back to the pre-exile days.
That is not strictly true either. Mastermind's Acquisition came out well after Coax from the Blind Eternities and it does not have the 'from exile' template... so that blanket errata would potentially cause new cards to play differently in EDH than they do anywhere else for no real reason.
Because on the first draw you would ask for lands, youd flip your whole deck finding nothing and then rearrange the deck in whatever order is convinient for you.
Dropping by to see how the primer was going. Some of the changes you detailed from a while back seem pretty good! Kinda surprised you havent slotted in Narset's Reversal yet, haha
This is directed at the people who want to make wishes work so they can actually use them: what cards would you include in your wish boards? (Be as specific as possible)
Actually I might do something like:
Time Spiral (BW)
Massacre (BW)
Seeds of Innocence (BW)
Treasure Cruise (BW)
Enter the Infinite (BW)
Mnemonic Betrayal (BW)
Nexus of Fate (CW)
Misdirection (CW)
Mindbreak Trap (CW)
Omniscience (MA)
And just mix and match them depending on what colors/wishes I’m on.
Edit: Theres actually only deck where I would run Mastermind’s Acquisition, and it would mostly just be a more expensive Burning Wish... there might be some other cards I would slot for it but can not think of any others at the time.
Why would i not be able to switch cards between games? There’s nothing stopping you at the moment from doing it, why would that change with wishboards?

All the Izzet Niv , except the first... sorta
Thrasios
Tasigur
Breya
Oona
Even more if you just consider legendaries that can with Paradox/Scepter.
