Hey! If I cast Yahenni's Expertise and choose Remand as the card in hand to cast, is Yahenni's Expertise still on the stack to return to my hand and draw a card?

My opponent gives his Frostburn Weird +3/-3 and attacks.

I turn it into an 0/1 Red Weird with no abilities by using a card in standard that I cannot seem to get a card link for.

Will his 0/1 have +3/-3 and die? Or does the pump and the Turn use the same layer and check the last one applied?

Any direction on this would be awesome. Thanks!

I may have not been clear. So, I know they can't play tiddlywinks to see who wins. But they are in an untimed round, and have sat down and started playing EDH instead of firing their standard top 8 match right. They won't be using the outcome to determine who advances. They contest that it's not an obstruction because the other 3 matches are still going on. Sometimes they concede, but sometimes they'll play standard after. I can't imagine this to be okay, and I just can't find the rule to throw at them or to give to the TO.

In top 8 of an fnm, two players decide to play edh instead of standard. I understand that the result of their match must be decided by standard or a concession, but are they breaking a rule? I can't find this in the book. It seems like a tournament obstruction.

Can I write their deck down while resolving Slaughter Games? How much can I write, if not the whole list?

    Thanks!

  • posted a message on Half Width Playmats
So, a while back, I saw a playmat that looked to be about 8-10 inches wide and maybe 18-20 inches long. (The normal being 14x24) I'm under the impression that these types of mats tend to be "YuGiOh" mats, in that they allow just enough room for the card zones in that game.

Anybody know a place that has these half (or nearly half) sized mats? Having a bunch of people at an fnm table with these 2 foot long mats is really cumbersome and I'd like to maybe start a trend.

    inb4 Google.com, tried everything I could.
