Chieftain and rabblemaster are going out for mogg fanatic and recklass bushwhacker, but what are good sideboard cards for taking out Kor firewalker? My loss was attributed to that card.
What sideboard options do we have for defense against board wipes like Anger of the Gods?
I've seen some talk about Genesis Chamber, but I can't figure out how to use it without severely slowing down the deck. The second turn is key for this deck to get creatures out and casting GC basically puts you back a turn. If you wait till a later turn to cast it, you'll have dumped most of your creatures, severely lowering the utility you'll get out of GC. When/how is GC being used?
Do we have any other options for boardwipes? The only other things I've seen as possibilities are Lightning Coils and Spawning Pit, which at least trigger off of dying creatures so you can drop it as insurance after you've got the hoard out on the battlefield. Do either of these have merit?
There are some two costing reactive spells that can protect our critters, but the problem is that they require you to have two open mana. Here is an old and overlooked card but it is a goody - Duress. It cost one and targets spells that wipe the board. If you climb higher you can make of Fecducity. Also, if you are playing an artifact heavy Gobots list Pia's Revolution could be a good pick. And, If you climb even higher there is Empty the Catacombs. I've used that one before - lots of fun. In the end, you are playing against a control deck so time will draw out to a grinding halt. So, do not get wrapped around the loosing the initiative.
@Stallion, your list has more than four two costing cards. Try to keep your two drops at or below four sets for a total of 16 unless you are playing tempo or midrange.
I can take the scout out. Which would you recomend? Mogg fanatic or arsonist? Or is there a new one drop that's pretty good?
The only remotely competitive Knight decks are mono-white Equipment Knights (with Puresteel Paladin), Vial Knights (with Aether Vial), CoCo Knights (with Collected Company), and possibly Haakon Knights. In all of these decks, it's recommended to have Cavern of Souls.
If your deck doesn't have any of these cards, it's going to be underpowered.
I have 4 puresteel. What equipments are generally run in such a deck?
The list I used was
4 goblin chieftain
4 goblin rabblemaster
4 goblin bushwhacker
4 legion loyalist
4 goblin piledriver
4 Foundry Street Denizen
4 mogg war marshal
4 lightning bolt
20 mountain
4 goblin king
3 cranial extraction
4 blood moon

Also, I don't have the original two swords, nor vials, out of the most recent three which do you recomend?
