Manny, I love the thought of Arbor Elf I didn't think of that, but it will untap Stomping Ground and Overgrown Tomb
I will update my main deck list to reflect that instead of Llanowar Elves.
Back in the Ursa Saga Block and Mercadian Masques I was a player of Land Destruction decks, I took a brake from magic for years and 2 years ago got back into Magic and since have really missed a LD deck. But I noticed some cards that makes me wonder if it is possible for it to be played now in Modern.
Some of these cards are expensive in casting cost for Modern but if we are keeping them off there Lands we should have time to get up to 4 mana for more power. Also I think that green is a must have for Birds of Paradise to help us with a 2nd turn LD.

I have like half of these cards laying around for this deck and am thinking of building it.
It is now at 60 cars and I put in one basic Island for the Tolaria West I took out to try and smooth out the mana base. I'm looking forward to this, wish me luck!
I will try and log on and post how it went later tonight if it is not to late.
I have 5 modern tournaments that I can go to before the Grand Prix to use as training before the Grand Prix.
But here is the deck list that I am currently testing around with.
I like the idea of playing all 3 in the same deck. We know the pros and cons of running Tectonic Edge or Ghost Quarter one over the other. So why not have both options? And play Tolaria West to be able to tutor for any of the other non basic lands you need or Chalice of the Void.
Creatures: I'm guessing the only questionable play would be my one Trinket Mage that can only get Expedition Map and Chalice of the Void but once again I like the idea of tutoring for them. But I guess that would be a quick 1 cut.
Other Spells: I like the idea of running 10 counters to play more controlling. 1 Fabricate because... well I love Tutoring for things.
I know I am probably trying to fit a lot of ideas into the deck and that's why I am 3 cards over. But tell me your thoughts on what I should cut and what do you think of my land ideas.

Hello all, I am new to this thread. But I think I will be playing this in the upcoming Grand Prix that is coming to my city.
I did want to ask if any one has played with All Is Dust and thoughts of adding it to the deck?
I wanted to ask if any thought has been given to using Kolaghan's Command just by adding a few Scry lands and Fetch lands with only 1 mountain. But by adding this It feels like it would give a little more versatility.
The idea being that if they get one of your Lillys early game you can get it back, maybe make them discard another card, if they playing with the new Pyromancer's Goggles or some other artifact can kill it, or a little damage to get someone out of the way.
Just an idea. I love reading this forum with the MBC ideas.

I really like the idea of B/R control, as I used to play it years ago.
I cards like Slaughter Games & Rakdos's Return agesnt control decks. I also like the look of Shimian Specter synergy with the Slaughter Games on paper. But I don't know how it would do in a real game.
I dont know what I should have for the other 7 cards. Or if this desk is really all that good. I would love to have a way to make it work.

The deck is at 63 cards so I need to cut 3 things. Now let me talk about my choices.

I do like the add of Sword of the Animist would help to get to Ugin, the Spirit Dragon. But would we not need more creatures in order to use it?
