A viable choice? I honestly think this is one of the worst PWs ever.
EDIT: I think the new Chandra fits better in UR Twin, her ultimate is probably game and the other 2 abilities are great, the only problem is how to transform her successfully.
I think Jace has an edge on Chandra. The key factor is that Jace is 2 mana while Chandra is 3 bolt makes Chandra too much of a tempo loss if she dies end of turn but Jace occupies the Bob spot (not saying he's that good). As you already pointed out Jace is easy to flip while Chandra is not. Likewise I think Jace is probably better flipped compared to Chandra as well. This deck doesn't really want shocks, especially when it's the payoff from flipping your 3 mana sorcery speed creature. Jace on the other hand probably provides some better card advantage by letting us reuse those serum visions which you never want to Snap or even gives you a sorcery speed bolt.
The Archangel seems like it would fit best in D&T. It actually provides another taxing effect, plus it can take advantage not just of the mini ghostly prison effect but also it lets you force an enemy to keep extra mana up to prevent every creature from being unblockable.
Just got back from a pptq today and got wrecked by Bxx decks running Tasigurs and other dudes with big butts. Is it worth going to 2 roast? Is there a better way to fight these dudes?
Hi, board state was my field with a grim lavamancer and a V Clique. Opponent has Hive Mind out and Slaughter Pacts my Clique. I interpreted that the Hive Mind trigger lets me copy the pact and assign it to a new target. I chose Grim Lavamancer and then holding priority killed it with its activation. The opposing player told me I couldn't do that. Did I mess up somewhere?

They were playing oboro too,it was a full combo list with md spellskite.I don't know if i'm ok with tc above dig,but i'd be curious to see the list.
Aerent those lands simply to get around Choke? How does Kiki-Jiki synergize with Minamo? You tap Kiki, copy Exarch, then untap Kiki, but the second exarch already untaps Kiki. So why do you need to sink mana into untapping Kiki?... Or is there a potential trick when you copy a Snapcaster or Spellskite during the opponents end step? You copy Snapcaster with Kiki during your opponents end step, untap Kiki, copy Snapcatser again, and there you have three Snapcatsers until the beginning your own end step. Is that the point or am I missing something?
You can untap Kiki in response to removal. It basically forces a second removal spell since you can then go off again.
The more I look at this T8, the less diverse it looks. Merfolk, Amulet, and Zoo are cool, but RG Tron and Valakut Breach have no business both being in a T8. That's a serious sign of warpage. Don't get me wrong; I like those decks and would love for them to be competitive. But the reason they are competitive is not because of a cyclical metagame. It's because of a tier 0.5 metagame of Pod and Delver.
What makes Amulet different from RG Tron and Breach? All three of them try to win by going "over the top" of conventional strats. four aggro decks were represented in the top 8 and Pod was the only midrange deck. Despite the fact that their portion of the day 2 meta was small 3 of them managed to top 8. It looks like the "over the top" strategy was effective against the field.
Saying that the success of these decks is a sign of a warped metagame misses an important point. Nobody can deny the field is different than pre-Ktk and so I don't think its possible to say that a cyclical metagame could have even developed by this point due to the massive shakeup Delver has caused so I think it makes sense to see such large numbers of the "deck to beat" and pod. That said, couldn't these results be one of the first signs that decks exist that can bring the pair into check? If going over the top is as effective as it appears from this top 8 then I'd speculate that the popularity of those decks is sure to increase and bring a whole other set of predators (control?) with them which should supply plenty of variety, and isn't that how a cyclical metagame is supposed to start?
Living end. If it works for Travis Woo, should work for 7 Year old.
Scapeshift and Living End are basically one card combos. Twin is a two card combo. I think they are all mostly straightforward. Living End is probably the easiest followed by Twin and then Scapeshift.
Most Delver players are probably satisfied running Flooded Strand or Polluted Delta. They are most interested in fetching islands after they get 1 or 2 Steam Vents.
I am skeptical about this card. It is still sort of card disadvantage. You replace their threat with a 2/2 but its still there. We could use electrolyze to return to parity but that combo is sorta janky.
Warden seems like another add to the inevitable humans shell that could someday be a thing in modern. We've got Champion of the Parish and now this guy. Some sort of Junk Humans/Aristocrat deck should be a thing eventually.
