The best option for multiplayer is probably purphoros with a bunch of token generators.
For 1v1, your best bet is probably Zurgo bellstriker with traditional burn spells and damage efficient creatures. If you play in French banlist you only have 30 pv to work with so this kind of deck is better in French.
Zurgo in Tiny Leaders is even better. Less life still (25!), and the deck size (49) gives you a lot more consistency.
If it's a creature with Myriad not by Blade of Selves, I don't see why they wouldn't make tokens of their own. That's actually kinda funny, how quickly that can get out of control. In a four player game, Warchief Giant attacks, you Sundial at EOC. There's 3 tokens. The next turn, full swing with your four giants and Sundial at EOC. That's another 12 tokens. The turn after that, if you full swing, you'll have 48 more, for a total of 64 5/3s. I don't think that scenario will happen too often, but damn if that isn't funny.
I think it's worth it to mention that Sundial of the Infinite would also let you keep the Myriad tokens, by the same process (only you end the turn in the end of combat step).
But the image that shows up on Gatherer for the "Origins" version of the card has the type line correct. I don't have a physical version to compare, though.
The image that autocard shows on MTGS is an old mockup, so it's a mistake on the part of whoever created that image. You'll also notice it says "MTGS" inside the holographic patch, and the line above the artist that usually says the rarity says "MTGS Mockup". The real Origins version has the correct creature types - the representation on Gatherer is accurate.
The Magus not having two power is really annoying. If it was a goblin it would be awesome, but I wasn't expecting that. I would have loved it to be a 2/3, though.
Still, at least it's going to be considered in mono-red budget lists across the board as an alternative to Wheel of Fortune['s pricetag], if nothing else. I don't think anyone's complaining about more wheels, either.
That's what the rules tell us should happen with Myriad. It's what happens now with similar abilities like Splinter Twin's. Delayed triggered abilities only trigger once unless otherwise specified, so if you let it trigger and then exile it from the stack, you're good.
Getting extra bodies and keeping them can still be relevant. At 2CMC, it's something.
You respond to the delayed trigger ability that triggers at the beginning of the next end step. Let it trigger, then end the turn to exile it from the stack. It's kind of funny to end the turn in the end step, but hey.
I got to talking with a friend about Myriad last night and the implications in his deck that plays Sundial of the Infinite and it got me thinking - would it be okay here? Lets you keep your Kiki tokens - just activate it in response to the delayed triggered ability. It's an interaction, I guess. I've never built Kiki, personally.

The person that makes big, game altering plays out of spite and not good sense is the problem, not the plays.
I don't think that's really making it "work", as much as making it slightly less terrible. It's still awful, like you said.
