From her downed position Bree used all of her force to arc her twin blades in the opposite direction, lunging one blade at the bottom of the shaft and the other about a third of the way, hoping to lob the wooden blade into a few pieces or at least deflect the attack.
After hearing Olus' comment, Allona withdrew her crossbow and aimed it at the hamstring of her nearest comrade, Laz. Realizing quickly the man had an odd sense of humor, she put the weapon away and continued onward, hoping no one had seen.
As Nervada asked for more details on the trip, Stoz leaned his body against a corner of a wagon and softly played a lively and upbeat tempo, one that was well suited for the short attention span of a child. Meanwhile, Farfel was making his rounds with the children, letting them pat him on the head while lightly begging for food.
Attempting to aid her comrade, Bree withdrew her blades and kicked her body forward once more into a strengthened two arm sweep aimed at the rear of the summons knees in an attempt to bring it to the ground.
Stoz casually stumbled into the second carriage, looked around to make sure that no one who would care was present and took a nip off his flask before gently placing his violin on the ground next to his dog. He turned to Nervada and offered the flask.

"Psh, kids today... you almost get killed by cultists and monsters and that's enough to make you not want to talk to the annoying man? How rude."

Allona followed Laz's lead.
"Quick and painless, got it boss."

"Fun? Music is fun. Alcohol is fun. Whorehouse... very fun. That? That not so much."
"How long have things been this crazy?"
