I realize that the Stomping Grounds are awkward So this deck is a lot better than my previous versions of the deck. I can sometimes get turn 4 kills and turn 5 kills often. The deck isn't very consistent yet and still needs good dredges and a good starting hand in order to guarantee an early kill. I really wish Narcomoeba was black because then I could sack it to the Demon. There is still something missing from the deck. Any suggestions as to what I would/should add. If you didn't already know, the deck functions somewhat similarly to a manaless dredge deck, except it needs one or two lands to survive. Test it out for yourself if you have the cards!
After revising the previous list and some others, I realized that the best way to go about this was to try and eliminate the aura strategy and try and make a consistent and quick dredge deck. At first, I tried to make the deck as close to a mana-less dredge deck by making it so that there were only 8 lands in the deck, along with Phantasmagorian, Street Wraith, and Narcomoeba instead of putting Loam to try and recur lands for consistent land drops (hope you start of with one of the 8 multi-colored lands, recur Dakmor, then play Loam to get to 4 land drops.) The "mana-light" strategy didn't work out though because it wasn't consistent or very fast due to the lack of a haste enabler in the form of Flame-Kin Zealot. I'm debating in this version whether I should just abandon the Loams and just play more lands? Or if I want to keep Loam and play 3 or so more lands, what should I drop then to be able to do that. Every card seems crucial, and in fact, I feel like I want more ways to discard cards at the beginning of the game. Also, I haven't been able to properly test this new version of the deck because I haven't acquired all of the cards yet.
Thanks for the suggestions.Ensnaring bridge actually sounds like an amazing card to play and I forgot that Timeshifted was legal! So Gemstone Mine would be a great card to include in this deck. I'm also thinking of including Snapcaster Mage if I have space so that I can flashback Goryo's Vengeance in case it goes to the yard.
Ok fair enough. I put the Quicksand because I wanted to have some sort of utility land against some sorts of aggro decks, but going straight for the lands sounds like a great option. What sideboard cards would you suggest for aggressive creature matchups, such as Zoo etc?
I haven't been able to test this deck, but the idea seems cool. Goryo's Vengeance+Bruna+Lots of Enchantments=Quick Kill.
Sigil of the Nayan Gods cycles and synergizes well with Worm Harvest. Worm Harvest and Zombie Infestation could be win-con. I have no idea what I would put in the sideboard. Thoughts?
This a recent deck idea that I've come up with. The deck revolves around a dredge engine and the goal of the deck is to utilize the graveyard and the cards synergy with the graveyard in order to win. Here is a decklist so you can understand better
There are many problems with this list however. It has no removal, no ramp and it is weak to graveyard hate. Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thank you
