I am curious what themes we'll be seeing in the future.
What may we see from Amonkhet? Enchantments? What about Return to Return to Ravnica? Perhaps we'll see old Ravnican legends? I'd be all over a new premium version of Lazav.
I would guess we are almost 100% guaranteed to see a set where they do ultra-premium Legendary Creatures—
that's arguably an even bigger market for blingers than lands.
Yea but do you understand how many games you win Bc of Manlands? Wrath and animate. That Nissa is bomb. The ult isn't relevant too much but a draw engine nonetheless. Plus being able to immediately ult (with doubling season) and a regrowth to back it up! Com'on she's definitely better than several of our "weakest walkers" we are currently running. Chandra is good. The utility of 4 abilities is great and versatility with a game ending ult. But if anything this would be the Nissa to include in superfriends for sure.
I think Tezzeret is acting out of his own ambition. However I do like the idea that bolas could be creating a "Legion of Doom" of planes walkers to counteract the Gatewatch. That would be awesome!
So I believe that the new Nissa, Vital Force deserves a spot in here. She is all around a solid walker for the deck.
+1 protection
-3 regrowth
-6 landfall: may draw a card
Best thing is she comes in at 5 loyalty.
New Chandra is interesting. 4 abilities, I guess at some point Wizards will make all the original walkers with 4 abilities, who knows.
She is strong though.
+1 2R mana/ free card or 2 damage to each opp
-3 deal 4 to creature
-7 emblem that will win you the game.
Pretty solid options. I at least think that she is better than Nalaar.
Problem is what to take out for sure.
As far as Deploy the Gatewatch is concerned you need to run more walkers for it to hit a more probable amount of times. 23 walkers gives you approximately 33% chance of hitting one and a 52% chance of hitting two. In my build I run 27 walkers. With this amount the numbers increase to 28% chance of hitting one and 62% of hitting two. Also it decreases the amount of whiffs as well, obviously.
From my testing in these kinds of builds, as far as naya goes - you can't beat madcap skills.
But I've found in the this type of deck, every creature is a threat whether it has evasion or not. So I compounded my efforts with fencing ace.
It comes online turn two, but that double strike will put you ahead or at least on par - with trample the thing is insane.
Massive slap in the face to Rakdos not giving him haste. If you can turn him on the turn you play him your deserve a free swing. Can be chump blocked and doesn't do anything Purphoros doesn't do. In fact damage from Purphoros can't be prevented so he is better and still only borderline playable.
I think a key card you're forgetting is Hammer of Purphoros, which is a relevant card since it shows up quite often in red based aggro decks. It also provides that extra 2 devotion to possibly turn him on (provided you're previous turns were successful) the turn he hits the battlefield.
As far as the land goes for grabbing back enchantments, this was one of the first cards "spoiled" for the new theros block. Now I know that it's fake but what if it was intended to go into the block. I mean it fits all the requirements.
The other thing I think players are missing is that you can play more than one Kiora in the deck. Ramp up with the first one, ulti the second or whatever. Depends on the matchup, boardstate, meta, but in every situation trying to rush to the ultimate is not always the plan. She screams versatility and that's what a good magic card is, versatile.
What is your plan A? Plan B? Do you have a end all beater if things end up that way? A specific combo you go for?
How are you winning?
I mean I can play with my robots all day long but unless you are contributing to doing something to the board and not just your own then you are quite vulnerable.
That is of course you run stall/lock until you get to where you want to be.
Return to Kamigawa lol

As far as stall there is:
ethersworn canonist, possessed portal, Norn's annex, winter orb, static orb, crawlspace, equilibrium, defense grid, lodestone golem, smokestack, death pits of rath, war tax, stasis, tangle wire, overburden, embargo, Decree of silence haha + hex parasite
Those are the only ones I cant think of off the top of my head
