So cogwork librarian is a common in an already small-ish set, and its ability appears to stack... how hilarious would it be for someone to just draft all the librarians in the first two packs then put every one of them in their third pack
Officially the first supplemental product I can't NOT buy. And probably the first that I will, unless I somehow put together enough cash to get a new commander deck in addition to this...
I don't really get why so many people want chromanticore to be legendary. It has no real interesting abilities to build a deck around aside from bestow. If you want a voltron enabling commander, there are plenty of much better and easier to cast ones out there. Personally I'm glad that its not legendary. It makes me think they probably felt like they needed something cooler than a bunch of keywords to make a cool 5 color legend. Hopefully they have something akin to cromat or reaper king as far as build-around-ability on the way.
So far this appears to be a full cycle that affect both creatures and planeswalkers in in-color ways. I can't imagine they will all be removal spells, even at rare, a 5 card cycle of mass removal in a small block would be stupid.
The blue version I imagine will probably be a mass boomerang, or better yet, a mass exchange spell a la Reins of Power .
For black, I can't imagine they would just give us the white one again. I'm thinking it may possibly be the opposite of the white one, bringing all creatures and planeswalkers back into play (either under owner's control or your control, they'd have to cost it pretty heavily if it was your control though...) however it seems out of color for mono black to get planeswalkers back to play... One other possibility I was thinking, it it might be mass counter removal. This has already been fairly cemented in blacks color pie, and it would be interesting to see how they would cost what is effectively a PW sweeper.
Green is the color I'm having the hardest time coming up with a possibility for. The only thing I can think of is a spell version of Doubling Season.

I got a Anax and Cymede during a draft that was covered in black specks on the front and weird trapezoid marks on the back. As soon as I get the receipt for the box from the person who bought it, I intend to send it in and look forward to any goodies sent back. I highly suggest you all do the same and see this as a positive.
I think all of those effects have a chance of being close to the right effects, except for blue. We already saw blue card draw with minds aglow, I doubt they'll do two cards with almost the same effect in the same colors in two commander sets in a row. I'm thinking blue is more likely to do something with instants/sorceries.
As this appears to be a new cycle along the lines of join forces, I figured we might as well speculate on what the WURG ones will end up being. I doubt they will do the same as the join forces cards in their colors and we'll probably see at least one creature with the ability like the dragon was for red. Any guesses?
Chose black as my alignment but got packs ful of RUG bombs so I went that instead. Won my first three, lost my last two and ended up 9th of 40 when the prize pool went to 8th place... all together the most fun limited experience I've had at a prerelease, seemed like the majority of the decks were very fairly matched. Just really bummed I couldn't pull out that win in round 4 or id have been in the running for second place :c also, monstrosity was HUGE in every situation it was activated. Always turned the tide of the game and it happened at least a couple times every game.
