Feb 4, 2014LordGrimpow posted a message on Launch Giveaway! My favorite card has got to be Norin the Wary. He's just so much fun to watch my opponents not realize the implications in a Purphoros EDH deck until he's doing 2 damage per person to EACH person every turn. That and combine with Pandemonium is just sweet.Posted in: Announcements

Fling and Varolz are also a sac outlets. You could sideboard Act of Treason to take control of opponent's big creatures, attack with them, and then sacrifice them.
With those sacrifice outlets, you could also add undying creatures like Young Wolf and Strangleroot Geist. Also since Undying can be die multiple times, Blood Artist is also very useful.
Removal is also important. Putrefy, Tragic Slip, and Golgari Charm are good. The Charm can also regen your creatures.
Since you're on a budget I recommend trying to get a hold of as many Vexing Devils, Slumbering Dragons, and Varolz as you can. The others I mentioned should be a lot easier to get.
Removal + Mill + Crypt Incursion against aggro makes them go O.O... :'(

Man of few words here. Gives advice, but no reasons why. However, I would have to disagree with you there.
Liliana is indeed a great card in certain decks. But it's not critical to this deck. It's decent removal and good discard if you always end up playing out your hand quickly. Like mentioned before, if you are building on a budget or only planning to play casually, this card is expensive and should be avoided for the time being. If not 1-2 in your main deck wouldn't hurt :).

Here are the reasons for my choices:
4 Arbor Elf (14 Forests, makes Assemble the Legion possible to cast turn 3 with farseeks)
4 Voice of Resurgence (We pump out creatures fast, having 1+ Wayfaring Temple tokens is sweet. With Legion's Initiative, it survives Pillar of Flame)
3 Assemble the Legion (7 anthems and a card that pumps out an increasing number of tokens every turn sound like sweet harmony).
3 Legion's Initiative (don't care about 2nd effect. Anthem's are sweet)
4 Intangible Virtue (another anthem, gives vigilance)
4 Krenko's Command (2 tokens for 2cc with 7 anthems = sweet. Initiative makes tokens deadlier)
4 Lingering Souls (proven itself time and time again as the best double token producer)
3 Call of the Conclave (3/3 for 2 is great against just about everything, survives spear with anthems)
3 Farseek (makes FB Lingering Souls, Advent, and Assemble easier to cast and sooner)
4 Advent of the Wurm (5/5 trample for 4cc at instant speed, can be cast turn 3 in this deck)
Although I do agree about the Thragtusks. They should either be MB or gone.
Voice of Resurgence is not a thing for flash decks, even if you run Yeva. They are better suited to decks that just pumps out creatures quickly like tokens/aggro.
Skylasher is a sideboard card at best. Most of the time it will just be a 2/2 with flash and reach and nothing else to your opponent. It's a Geist/drake blocker and that's about it. Other than them, blue creatures are kind of absent from Standard on a large scale right now.
Instead, you should increase your I/S count and your Snapcaster Mages.
You should check out the other Bant Flash thread in this section for some more ideas. Lots of deck lists posted in it.
That's what the 8 mana dorks are for. Also mana dorks work well with Collective Blessing as they become 4/4s. But yeah I'm not sure how well the deck would hold up against a faster deck. It could probably use some early removal like Searing Spear or Mizzium Mortars.

I might think of a sideboard later
You are mistaken. Re-read the flail. It says "combat damage". If taking combat damage, they deal x2. Noncombat damage would still yield x1 damage.
OMG! No punctuation! Also, yeah that is a deck. Not sure how it will fare in constructed. Possibly decent for BUG/Esper control.
Also maybe I should re-word the title to MY New Decks for Post-GTC Standard. I'm looking for ideas and suggestions for the decks I posted. Not for new deck ideas.
