Are you asking us to weaken the deck?
(or change the minds of your friends?)
The deck looks pretty oppressive when not held in check so I think they are right.
So... what to do?
How do you keep the deck fun, weaken it, still capable of holding it’s own AND change the perception of your friends?
Tough one.
Remove most of the direct damage?
Add some -more random or chaotic- effects to it?
Throw in a few dragons, life gain, card draw?
Maybe even some group hug elements? (Howling Mine, Mana Flare)
I’m not sure you can make enough changes to get the effect you want without losing the deck’s identity and thereby your love for it.
With War of the Spark only just landing in my decks this new expansion is now completely spoiled and it’s awesome!
Check it out, too many to mention.
Ok, just a few teasers: ninja’s, slivers, swords of X and Y, legends of old and even a mox.
The sad part will be the prices as these boosters are at a premium.
Oh well, I’ll see what I like and what is relatively affordable.
Of my list the Dreadhorde Butcher performed better than I expected.
And I pulled off a Command the Dreadhorde while having The Wanderer in play... good times!
Oh. And my superfriends deck won gloriously by turning my walkers into dragons with Sarkhan.
The other cards haven’t seen (enough) play, so no stories there.
That way you can add darlings in stead of having to remove them.
Consider an artifact build with Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas as well.
Adding black opens up a legion of cool new stuff, don’t let that suffer under the pressure of not wanting to remove your Luminarch Ascensions...
Think Strix’s, Despark, Havengul Lich and a horde of others.
I just made a nondedicated Saheeli deck.
She’ll probably do ok.
I generally use 1/1’s as fodder.
Maybe with a Dictate of Heliod or two they’ll amount to something.
Or if you have a big horde a Goblin Bombardment will do.
Anyway, have fun with ‘m. It will probably take some tweaking to get the amounts right.
Drop any creature that is above two copies and run more card draw and/or cards like Kodama’s Reach to thin out your deck. (maybe keep the four Amplifire’s, though they’re a “nonbo” with themselves)
Just like to share this one.
Enjoy it!
Comments and questions are welcome.

Good (black) death triggers? (A high end example would be Butcher of Malakir, a lower end option would be Grim Haruspex.)
Other / more high damage options? Like Goblin Piledriver, Goblin War Strike or Munitions Expert)
Utility goblins, like Goblin Cratermaker or Goblin Tinkerer?
Or... how about Brutal Hordechief, Crypt Ghast or (eeeew!) Zulaport Cutthroat?
(or change the minds of your friends?)

You could -apart from giving it evasion- always run some sac outlet with it.
Either for more damage or for other profit.
Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero finds them all, and changelings to boot.
And I’m afraid that some cards (looking at you Sword of Truth and Justice) will only go up.
Hmmmm......

Hey all,
What are you all playing?
These are a few of my choices:
That way you can add darlings in stead of having to remove them.
Consider an artifact build with Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas as well.
Adding black opens up a legion of cool new stuff, don’t let that suffer under the pressure of not wanting to remove your Luminarch Ascensions...

(Are Skullclamps allowed? Great for weenies...)
I’d probably double Jazal and Mirror to improve your chances of drawing those.
Not sure if the rest of the deck’s good. You’ll probably have to test it in your meta.
She’ll probably do ok.

Like Lux Cannon and Spawning Pit, for variance and fun. (and Coretappers if you want to commit.)
